Superman always was one of us, and im not talking about Henry, people see the powers and the frame but don't realize that the character is Superman, the man is Clark Kent, and he's the most relatable guy in the DCU at his core, he grew up on a farm had very little wealth if any at all, wasn't popular in school, had a very small circle of friends, he was raised to be kind and respectful of people, he genuinely wanted to do good for the sake of good, but maybe it's those things that just aren't relatable anymore, maybe we failed Clark Kent. Yet people see Batman, a guy who also has a perfect frame, and all the money in the world, so much so he can pretend to be a Batman, a millionaires power fantasy about using their money to do everything, including avenging his parents, yet people want to believe Jeff Bezos over here is the most relatable hero in DC.

If you read/watched interviews he did after he got the Superman role, you'd know how he was playing a game (WoW I think) when he got the call saying he got cast in "Man of Steel". He was always "one of us", only better looking and sexier accent :)

Keanu may be some sort of ageless immortal, but Henry Cavill is really a man of the people, and doesn’t pretend to be otherwise like so many in showiz. He’s just a geek with a passion for acting, and it’s refreshing to see someone so many of us can see ourselves in and then remember that he’s literally a superhero. Guess you could say he’s a real-life Clark Kent.
He’s a like Superman if you will. Elevated by the masses, who is only trying to bring out the best in himself and others.

he's surprised and impressed. Most interviewers assume it's only xbox or playstation though.
obvious though, since all console games are technically built on PC's, heck consoles these days run on PC hardware that have been factory made with limited hardware(as in lesser in performance/memory stuff thus costs been cut) and a platform modified to work only for games, consoles are a market for folks who don't want to deal with the "annoying" PC stuff of gaming or so i'd put it softly(not a prob for me though), simple as that, but a decent gamer puts the effort to actually deal with all or some of that, that's my view of it but i'm not gonna hate on consoles for what they are nor the fan base but i don't like some fans who cry out how consoles are better when they aren't actually better.

I was always for Geralt, never understood why people weren't. He's a passionate gamer and a good actor. He also has the "build" of a witcher/Geralt
I tried not to judge too much, I've seen beloved characters from books I love become something I made fun of in the movie/series, but I loved Henry's portrayal, thanks for caring man. I mean I had a stupid fangirl grin the whole time because he had the mannerisms and sounded like Geralt; and if I'm being honest Henry may have been the most suited visually for the role (despite the game giving me a visual of him already) and my only comment on that is he seems a bit bigger all around than Geralt is in the games. Height. Build. Not that I'd actually complain about that. Okay long winded comment done, it's the internet nobody cares anyway.

@@alexanderm8975 --- Henry started playing the PC game Witcher 3 when it was released in 2015 he said. And he also read the Witcher Books in early 2018 after meeting Lauren Hissrich. He told her he didn't know there were books. He got the books & read them. I love Henry playing the role of Geralt. He has Absolutely nailed the role. I see him as Geralt now. I hope in Season 2 they improve Henry's wig.

So true, there are a lot of really hot girls out there with average faces and amazing bodies because they take care of themselves. It’s a big turn on for me cus it shows they are willing to put in the work. I was 150 lbs 6’5 3 years ago and girls wouldn’t give me a second glance, now I’m 205 lbs shredded and everyday I get attention. In all honesty I’m average looking, but I can still pull 10’s because they can tell I take care of myself and have confidence.

The series got a major boost after the show. I never played the games and everywhere I went on my city it was sold out, even used copies! I think they will do a Witcher 4 but it will be separate from Geralt. Something 6 similar to God of War. Not a reboot but a new story in a different time with mature grown characters and different perspectives of themselves and the world their in. It's confirmed their a multiple planes and worlds. Maybe in a new world with new types of Witchers.
Adam M I think maybe a ciri based game or a reboot with a canon games to the Netflix series cause the games aren’t canon. So I hope cd project red( the people who make the games come back for it if they do.
I doubt a new Witcher game will come out, at least not any time soon. They really outdid themselves with The Witcher 3, and probably wouldn't want to risk hurting their reputation by trying for a new one when they clearly made the story endings conclusive.
This is how you know Cavill is a real gamer. When the interviewer ask him playstation or xbox? Cavill, without missing a beat just goes "PC" and the tone of his voice and the look on his voice says, "as if there were any other option!" He's a hardcore gamer!

Ever since playing the Witcher 3 and watching the show. I fell in love with everything about it. So much so that I have the books on order. Henry Cavill is by far my favorite actor and a genuinly great person; glad I got to know more about him.
I watch this video religiously, at least once a week. Henry is like no one else. A Hollywood megastar with the physique of a greek god, but so down to earth and nerdy, really thoughtful, polite, educated and funny in his own unique way. What a guy.

TWICE?! I played that game through once, loved it and never played it again because it's soooo freaking long. It's a full on commitment beating the witcher 3. How does this man stay in incredible shape and consistently make movies?! How many hours are in his day?! WHAT IS THIS WITCHCRAFT?!?!?!??!
He got in the game even before the series. But yeah, also consider how much time he spent on building them shoulders
