There goes an account of a Brazilian adult who remembers when he was a child. My mother was always fanatical about Cat Stevens... when I was 4 years old... I remember her putting Moonshadow on for us to sing together... and she was always close to Yes and Cat Stevens... she died two years ago of cancer... .at her wake we played The Wind... I miss you.... Cat Stevens is my living mother.. I miss you so much.. Man.. I've loved you since I was four...my mother has loved you all her life.. thank you for your art... brazilian hugs... stay with god. Paulo and Priscilla, two brothers raised at the base of Cat Stevens.

I'm a British born Greek Cypriot who has grown up feeling proud and inspired by this wonderful human being and great artist! I think we are distant relatives or so says my family.
And so you should, he is a great inspiration for everyone especially to those from his origin.
Yusuf is such a beautiful soul. I’d love to have a cup of tea with him one day.

I love this song. I see wind moving long grasses and leaves in gentle waves. Yusuf, I know I say how calming your voice is to me. If you come to St. Louis, Missouri, I will show you really good vegetarian and vegan places. We have all kinds of ethnic food.
