So that is probably why not to mention that this is literally a fairy tale that tells the origins of how hunter teams were formed, plus it might cause problems if you have more than four people in your group. An Example could be that if there are more people then there is more of a chance to attract an overwhelming amount of Grimm.

yea, in the notes of the phisical book ozpin says that maybe the king of vale had this tale in mind when he created the huntsmen schools and the four person team requirement, a theory is that a past reincarnate of ozpin was the king of vale.
An awesome story of how the Huntsmen & Huntress are consisted of 4 individuals & how a Four Men/Women Team is created. I actually like this one. It makes perfect since of how it came to be years later in the Current Timeline of RWBY. Hope the next few RWBY Fairy Tales Stories (Episodes & Chapters) are more interesting like this & the first one as well. It's getting really good!
The thing that stood out to be was the girl wearing glasses. She can use her Aura to calm people down. That sounds like Ren's Tranquility. I'm aware that his Semblance is described to mask emotions, but from the way it looks, it also has a calming effect.
Ozpin picked the bravest as team leaders. Makes so much since now. Ruby/Jaune are Bravery Weiss/Nora are Heart Blake/Pyrrha are Wisdom (without a doubt) Yang/Ren are Humility. When any team truly embodies these four qualities, nothing can stop them except division... OH I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING ELSE! Every semblance after these four are related in some way to everyone after them! That's verrrrry neat! Enjoyed this short very much!!!!

The art is fine but am i the only one who finds the lack of frames super distracting? I know the whole point of this show is that it's cheap but only having 4 frames for someone walking from one side of the screen to the other really takes me out of it

The main problem I had with this episode is that the siblings' relationship with each other is completely different to what's shown in the book. They didn't fight with each other like this in the book. It just states that they would sometimes have "lively discussions" about who had the most useful Semblance. And although they disagreed on what they should do after their father's death and went their separate ways, it specifically states in the book that they "loved one another too much to argue", not that they "argued long into the night".
My headcanon is that it came from the god of death crashing through the moon. From "The Lost Fable" in volume 6, as he crashes through the moon it causes fragments to rain down on Remnant. Since magic came from the gods, and dust is kind of like magic, I interpreted it as something like the god's energy "rubbing off" onto the fragments of the moon and creating dust, if that makes sense. If there's information out there that contradicts this though I'd be glad to hear it, I'm definitely not as deep in RWBY lore as some people.
