I started wearing a Mariniere, or striped Breton top in college 43 years ago and have loved them ever since. In 100% cotton, no Spandex! No tumble-dryer, either, though, but I don’t machine-dry any clothing, it ruins it faster than anything else.

I love a midi skirt with knee high boots and am trying to wear them more as I'm a trouser girl at heart. Trying to wear more slip skirts this season as they don't really work for me (my style) for sunny months but they look great on other people. Easier with a big jumper and boots I find. Maxi cardigans! I love a longline item.
As we enter into the rainy season, here on the westcoast of BC, Canada, hats are a must. Specifically ball caps, I love a good ball cap, it keeps the rain off of my face and looks good too. Grey denim, blue denim, grey tweed, brown tweed, etc.
@@ANNAREID29 Hah, a hat that's too big would blow away in our winds too, and you would not be able to run after it fast enough. I have to be able to pull it down so that it stays secure, that's why no one uses umbrellas here on the coast, way too windy.

Often I wear both with the hood tied in place so it doesn't blow off, the hood stops the rain from running down the back of the neck, although my long hair does that as well, but the hood stops my long hair from getting wet. Victoria is pretty windy too.
I love your style, you always pick such figure flattering clothes! You have a great personality too, so fun to watch! Very likeable and you're like the friend everybody wants to hear style advice from. Even though I live in a colder climate and need more layers, or at least a warm coat and boots.
I'm totally with you on the cashmere! I just got to a certain point in my life where I was tired of feeling beat down by fabrics that felt rough and scratchy on my sensitive skin, and I decided I deserved to feel comfortable in my clothes! (And there are more reasonable brands out there like Nadaam and Quince - plus the big department stores typically have sales right before Thanksgiving - every year!). I actually decided a similar thing on socks: I was SO tired of my feet being cold in cotton and nylon, and finally made the jump to wool socks. Yeah, they are expensive, no doubt. But my God, the best thing ever!!! No more cold feet and they feel like my feet are being hugged.
I bought a navy cashmere zip up hoodie last fall and wore it all winter. As a very soft warm layer you can’t beat it. Asking for another one from Santa this year.
Hi Anna I can not imagine anyone ever giving you a thumbs down. For some one that has a little one, your energy is impressive. I always like to watch you and then I get things done. I loved everything you showed today. Those darker brown pants …amazing. I finally did get a denim skirt but went with a midi like you suggested since I am 5’2” . I love that green dress so much. There was just nothing that I did not like. Anna, you buy as many black maxi skirts as you want 😂😂. I am going to try a pointy shoe, since now maybe they are making them more comfortable. Doing hair , standing so long ruined my feet. I am so glad you got to wear that beautiful camel coat. The only thing that gets me through the colder seasons is knowing that I get to wear my collection of jackets and coats. Lol I wore my thrifted faux leather black blazer to church. I got it at an estate sale for one dollar !!! It retailed on The Real Real for sixty percent off but price was 163.50. It is buttery soft and not sure it was ever worn.I am with you on the skinny jeans..just having so many different styles this year and loving the flares, wide legs and straight legs, I put all my skinny jeans in the attic but one pair . Have a great rest of the day. Thanks for all the work you put into these. I would get hot flashes changing so many times, but you are young enough not to have that. That part is nooo fun. ❤❤❤

I think the basic, no frills cardigan is not in or out, it just kind of looks functional at this point. But the waterfall cardigans or the hi lo ones do look a bit dated I think ❤️❤️
I just discovered your channel. 🎉 I just put all my winter clothes on my bed and came up with some great outfits. I do this each season before I add to my wardrobe. Saves me from buying seasonal items that I will have trouble matching and end up not wearing.

Feeling the same about the boots and jeans! Now that I've been wearing baggy and wide leg jeans again, I haven't even worn my fitted girlfriend jeans, let alone skinny. I don't like the way they look or feel. Unfortunately, I bought a pair of knee high BedStu boots last fall (or was it the fall before that?), and I need to figure out how to wear them. I love those boots, but I don't want to wear the jeans, and I really don't wear dresses and skirts much. I think I'll be jean shopping soon.😆 Also, the sleeveless sweaters are perfect for us Floridians!
HA! HA!! I beat you!! I have 8 pairs of Vivaia shoes and they are the bomb!!! I absolutely love them -- even the the sling backs with pointed toes. I also have a bunion on one of my feet. These are the first heels I have ever been able to wear with comfort. Once again --- love your videos!!

I rediscovered the sleeveless sweater/mock neck this year too. The beautiful thing about those is how they work so well under a jacket or cardigan without adding bulk. The black denim midi looked fab on you too.

Good morning Anna, I love your red jacket and the green dress and you look amazing in jeans and trousers. I think you should wear more blues and stronger colours, esp. near your face. You look gorgeous whatever you wear but imo all those beiges/caramels etc. are not super flattering to blonde & fair-skinned women, I find that they drain you of all colour, though they look better with a bright red lipstick. I passed up a butter yellow cashmere sweater vest at the thrift store, in perfect condition, even though it was only four dollars. The fit wasn't right for me. Also, those vivaia shoes have zero support, I'd be dying after an hour. If only they had a good foot bed and arch support... le sigh

I found some long sleeve knit button ups I love this year that make my life so easy not needing to iron. Cardigan sweaters as a top as well...the buttons just feel more put together but not needing to iron is great! And the upscale sweatshirts are awesome!
For some odd reason I love dresses and skirts in the fall/winter seasons. I have wool and cashmere dresses and skirts that I will pull out. For the first time in my life, I am going to keep my summer maxi dresses in my closet and style them appropriately for the colder seasons. Tops: button ups, natural fiber sweaters and ling sleeve tees. I also have two spring/summer sweaters that I layer and wear in the fall/winter. Pants: high-waisted straight and wide pants. Shoes, I’ll be wearing oxfords, combat boots and ankle boots. Outerwear, leather coat, wool blazers & coat and possibly long puffer. I heard we are getting an El Niño so I will be prepared.
My style is a lot like yours. I love sleeveless and shortsleeved sweaters with a turtleneck (my husband doesn’t get the point). This autumn I will be wearing my flared and straight jeans a lot with ankle boots. And blazers!! Definitely blazers. Anna, may I ask what your body type is?

What fantastic outfits - such inspiration! Your camel coat is amazing - really classic and classy. The blazer thing is funny - I have a camel one and a black one and normally fall is their time (worn as an outer layer as I wouldn't wear one any other season, too much for under a coat and my lifestyle). For some reason, I haven't reached for them at all this year - but have worn my leather jacket multiple times. Would kill for your long, slender legs!!

I found some long sleeve knit button ups I love this year that make my life so easy not needing to iron. Cardigan sweaters as a top as well...the buttons just feel more put together but not needing to iron is great! And the upscale sweatshirts are awesome!

Horizontal stripes are a big no for girls who have large girls.
For some odd reason I love dresses and skirts in the fall/winter seasons. I have wool and cashmere dresses and skirts that I will pull out. For the first time in my life, I am going to keep my summer maxi dresses in my closet and style them appropriately for the colder seasons.
Tops: button ups, natural fiber sweaters and ling sleeve tees. I also have two spring/summer sweaters that I layer and wear in the fall/winter.
Pants: high-waisted straight and wide pants.
Shoes, I’ll be wearing oxfords, combat boots and ankle boots.
Outerwear, leather coat, wool blazers & coat and possibly long puffer. I heard we are getting an El Niño so I will be prepared.
My style is a lot like yours. I love sleeveless and shortsleeved sweaters with a turtleneck (my husband doesn’t get the point). This autumn I will be wearing my flared and straight jeans a lot with ankle boots. And blazers!! Definitely blazers. Anna, may I ask what your body type is?
I love cashmere too but do you hand wash yours? I don’t want to spend too much money on dry cleaning. Btw, I’ve always enjoyed your videos very much. Thank you for all your fashion tips. Very helpful!

What fantastic outfits - such inspiration! Your camel coat is amazing - really classic and classy. The blazer thing is funny - I have a camel one and a black one and normally fall is their time (worn as an outer layer as I wouldn't wear one any other season, too much for under a coat and my lifestyle). For some reason, I haven't reached for them at all this year - but have worn my leather jacket multiple times. Would kill for your long, slender legs!!

Sleeveless sweaters are amazing! I bought one second hand years ago & have worn it out. I feel like it’s a trick when I wear a layer over it that I wldn’t be able to wear if it had the sleeves.
