Honestly Magna putting in educational work just to say fuck you to enemies is the kind of motivation I need
Magna isn't normally the type to sit down and study as he's not highly intelligent, but he is passionate and can do anything when he puts all his focus into something, and that's what I love about his character

@@owenblount7334 shuheis bankai is made out of love for life though. His bankai is intended to end fights peacfully unlike magna's made to kill or defeat others.

The craziest part to me was that he and Zora were at base when Dante, Asta, and Yami fought but they couldn’t do anything cause his spell wasn’t ready yet. He was even biting his lip to the point that it was bleeding to restrain himself😭😭 Such dedication and patience. GO MAGNA!!
Watched faithfully first 7 episodes and dropped it because it gave huge Naruto vibes but might be time to take a second look

Can anyone recognizes how much of an absolute chad Zora was, this man unironically figures out a technique used by a complete different country on his own through sheer will and resourcefulness without knowing it existed and being completely incompatible with it by having low mana.
As opposed to ironically figuring out a technique?
Zora’s the batman of black clover, having his own secret base and being a vigilante and fighting without much power but with skill and knowledge.
Zora = Captain Level, same with Nacht, Yami has Glorified Cap level dudes as Vice-Captains!🧨

@@LupineShadowOmega Dante definitely has the most raw power of the triad but Zenon seems more like the actual big bad. I'm also curious about Morris since he had a lot of foreshadowing.

I wouldn't exactly call it op in the general sense, but it's a very effective but balanced ability, as it takes serious preparation and could only be used once

Tekking I really wish that you watch/read Jujutsu Kaisen, I´m sure you will love it and the amount of videos you can do on it would be awesome.
Black Clover power system is so underrated its criminal, Tabata found a way to make the weakest side character in Manga fight against the strongest villian in Dante in an equal fight without breaking the power scale or a** pull 🔥👏
And then it was so unexpected he was the last person I thought would be fighting DANTE it shows that he didn't forget about the character either
It literally does break the power system and the power system already has an asspull mechanism so he didn't need to make a new one
True I was expecting Magna to lose after doing some damage to Dante. And Asta & Luck pulling up saying something like Dont worry you can rest for the moment we will beat him!

I love how the punk guy had to basically learn high level math to get stronger. Really hope he's got other array based moves that are easier to write so he can fight against other people after he burns through Soul Chain Deathmatch.
Plus, I love how high mana runes users, beyond invoking True and Ultimate magic, just give spells flexibility like tracking and boosts then. But the low mana arrays can be chained together over time to create crazy effects like counter trap and soul linking.
Can you talk about Morris next? He’s really caught my interest as of late

This literally breaks all power barriers. Anyone can use the runes and there's no reason they can't do the same thing magna did but also do it better
@@drewferguson4787 why would royals scribe special spells when it takes a year to write the spell down and getting it to work, when they have a lot of mana to use for their own powerful spells instead
Whenever Dante pulls the chain, I think Zora and Magna planned ahead and expected him to do that, and its now Zora's turn to fight.

I love seeing this kind of training in any series is great especially how Tabata shows Magna pleading with Zora to show off how a peasant is mighty too

Black Clover has always been a series that let side characters get badass moments unlike most other shounen where any time a side character gets a badass scene they get clapped and the protagonist has to save them.
Magna basically pulled out a hatsu with kurapika level strats
To the point I would called him a way better underdog than asta.
Honestly, one of the best anime strategies I've seen in black clover, for magna who's mainly a brawler with low level magic, going against dante with super high magic. What's cool is magna knowing he could never match up to them in training alone, decides to create a technique that evens things out!

Like legit, a year ago I thought the only way Magna could stay relevant as a fighter for the Bulls was to get a devil companion to lvl him up. I even threw out the idea he and Zora could train by dungeon hoping and getting crazy powerful loot and be like Usoop from One Piece.
But this had me so hype to see Magna punching Dante in the face, it was so surprising and out of left field that I could never have expected arguably the least power+intelligent member of the bulls even scratching him. Im also happy we got a well thought out and reasonable explanation for the ass beating were seeing.
Unfortunately, I have to agree that it would be just a bit too crazy to have him take down one of the big 3 enemies, but he can at least contribute in a major way to take down one of them. That alone is significantly better than what I could have imagined.

I made a weird connection with Tekking and Markiplier+Pewdiepie. Markiplier was briefly King of the Squirrels, and Pewdiepie had a conflict with the Ducks. Kaido is a Duck (Duck Dragon as Tekking revealed), and Tekking appeased the Alien squirrels since Mark gave up leadership of the earth squirrels...
Honestly, I'm just stalling to avoid an essay...

I'll be real with you, I haven't read Black Clover or BNH in about half a year. Whenever I see it mentioned I gotta skip the videos to avoid spoilers. Past two days over caught up on both, and... Well. Things happened.

The fact that it was a 1 time use for a 6 months preparation time. Just to kick Dante's ass. Dante could not even summon Lucifer in his body or get a demon heart because it will also power up Magna so it will be useless.

Dante would break the chain and the remaining magic, say 400 is divided between them so Magna is now a 200 from a 2 and so is Dante and if he is too weak, it might even end his Devil union and either the Devil kills him or magna finally beats him in an even fight between mages and the new Devil is the final boss in either case
You should make a video about the different types of spells could be made now that we know peoples mana method could be personalized like nen

I was just thinking about your last Black Clover video a few days ago lol. Magna's soul chain ability is genius! It fleshes out the power-system, gives an otherwise weak character a chance to be relevant, and still makes sense. There's just something poetic about the hard-working but weak peasant making a spell to put himself on the same level as one of the strongest villains in the series.

I just like how Tabata did this in order for some characters to keep up with the power scaling where everyone is relatively the same. And with Magna, I was thinking he was going to do some kind of trap magic like Zora but I wasn’t sure how he would of kept up. I was thinking being able to seal enemy attacks into fireballs and he could throw it back at the enemy but added up with his. But it’s FAR beyond what I thought and it’s so fitting. Being able to link how soul with someone else, and actually drag them down to Magna’s level and pulling Magna up to the nobles. AKA, he drags the people like Nobles down to the level of a peasant and fight it out on equal grounds. ITS BOTH INGENIOUS AND SO FITTING TO THE CHARACTER. I swear Tabata can do this and still somehow fit the characters while Making them strong in their own ways. It’s just brilliant.
Lucifero gets disgusted with Dante, takes of Dante’s body and ripped the chain out of Dante’s chest. This leaves all the mana in Magna’s body and the overload causes Magna to pass out. When Magna wakes up he has a major mana upgrade becausehis mana pool was forcibly expanded. 🤯🤯🤯
Idk...I really like magna BECAUSE he's so weak. I would love to see him be stronger but would prefer he continues doing that by studying
@@joseroque9589 you make a good point. Maybe he could get dante’s magic and it could slowly leak out over time. That way he could get a feel for what more power would be like and he will have a clearer path to his goal.
