Went for Staff/Dagger in the beginning and just today switched to this, boy i finally feel like a true Mfing Mage, thanks a lot!

I switched to that configuration, as much as I could, and I am getting much better results. I'm still dying on the dungeons but I see I survive more. Thanks ❤️ 💪

Saw someone post that Manaball Eruption only affects auto attacks. I tested the Serial Fire Bombs multiple times, and never got an extra projectile. Might test this a bit, 'cause this could change your passive priority.

I'd swap the fire ground attack with the heavy frost attack so your lightning hits harder
Fire ground attack helps the lightning hit harder
Lightning hits harder either if your wet or the target is under frost debuff so I'm guessing the ice missiles have that buff?

Enjoyed the video, tons of solid information!! Perhaps I missed it, but how do I determine if I should be using my wand or my staff as the active weapon to attack with?
I would use wand. It really doesnt matter a whole lot because the game swaps weapons as you cast spells
nice video and cool build! will definitely try that :) But do you have a guide for the end game as well with this build? bc all wand/staff end game builds i see are highly focus on healing, but i would like to maximize my dmg as high as i can with this build :D and would just like to take the wand mostly for dot and recovery :) so youre build is basically perfect but it ends before the end game :(

What a good way to increase curses damage
This build really doesnt need to utilize curse damage. The only reason we use it is to activate Vampiric passive

hey so i followed the leveling guide all the way until 50, the guide suggests i should level wisdom to 50 and strength to 30 and the rest into perception, but afterhitting 50 i have ended up with 46 wisdom and 21 strength. i was wondering what i should do. thanks!
As you transition into end game gear your stats will increase and change depending on what gear you have

When following the written guide, the green gear you suggest doesn't have the same stats in game when its crafted?
For green gear, you really only care about mana regen and any base attributes you can find.
I really feel like eventually you can have a bunch of setups but as a new player wand and tome really intrest me im using it woth staff currently but i want to play support without a bow and i wish we could hide weapons on our characters because i hate looking at the staff but would daggers be viable as a support build if tome is the main weapon

Can staff wand compete with bow wand as support ? Or will this class be looked over for a bow wand that can heal and support more?
For sure. In PVE, staff wand is the better combination. In PVP, Bow Wand is better overall but Staff Wand is still good

Devotion and emptiness passive does not reduce any cooldowns for me. I am testing during the day so it should work but nothing changes. Is it bugged or something?

Hey im new to the game i havent played it yet but i was wondering if i wanted to make a main healer does it matter what your main hand weapon is? Like would it be okay to go staff then wand or should i wand then staff
it doesnt matter cause the game swaps weapons for you when you cast abilitiies

This Weapon combination is a healer build in the Endgame! you wont need to respec to a different weapon
Hit 50 - how do I best get blue gear for this? I can't craft the blues in the written guide, is using the resistance blue weapon fine etc? Thanks!
You can use the resistance and other easily accessed blue to level up until you get the recommended gear. Then just transfer the progress over.
Staff/wand Can he do high damage like a DPS? Or would he never get that kind of damage and is more like a support and doesn't have pure DPS builds?
ATM is not S tier damage but can deal good damage for sure. This combination is more of a support build while staff dagger and staff wand are the more Pure DPS builds with the staff

Question does it matter what weapon I use when attacking cause I'm using the staff but sometimes I want to change it up and use the wand, but don't know if I should or not or if it even matters.
No, not really with this build. When you cast a spell from a weapon, the game switches for you

This build has mana regen built into it. As long as your using your Inner Piece you should be good

Does this transition into a hybrid pvp build well? I don't want to use my books and realize I don't want the skill for PVP.
You can use something like this in arenas for sure but for large scale better to follow the PVP guide. www.studioloot.com/throne-and-liberty/articles/staff-wand-support-build/. You should have quite a bit of skill books with Ornate Coins and completing a lot of the quest line. Getting all your skills to at least blue shouldnt be hard. Then you can pick the skill youll use most at end--game and go from there

HIT is important in PVP

Wand/Staff is much better in PVE and slightly worse than wand/longbow in PVP
What should I put my stat points into?
For PVE Dex and Wisdom
I know it's a build to level up, but what happens if at level 50 I want to be a full dps staff/wand? Is there a viable build or if I want to play staff/wand I can only be useful as a healer?

If you play wand, you are a healer. You could try to play DPS as staff/wand but it's not going to be good/meta. If you want to play a mage dps just pick up dagger or bow in your secondary.
For sure you can. Dagger or Longbow would increase DPS but this build is viable for sure
@@redbyrdYT Rough way to set people up for failure imo. Sure it can be played as DPS, anything can but when you're trying to get into pugs for dungeons. They won't take you as DPS.

Yes, something very similar to this works fine! You can switch out the single target heal if you want for meteor but honestly its still probably good to be able to top yourself off
Does anyone know what the proc chance on manaball eruption is? That is the most horribly worded tooltip. And it doesnt match the upgrade tooltip.

For sure! you can build out Staff Wand for healer or damage for PVE
hey I'm also completely new to these games, I've looked at a lot of your stuff, can you show me a damage over time build, I can't find anything sensible or is damage over time not good
You can use a DOT damage build for staff wand. You would focus more on curse and burn damage and Curse Explosion. Primary skills would be fire, Curse, Curse Circle, Curse Exlposion. You can use Haze to spread dots to targets and then AOE them down. Let me know if you have any questions

How did you allocate your stat points?
For leveling youll be bouncing around stat wise. I would just focus on DEX for damage and STR for extra HP.

Your written leveling guide relies on Fountain of Life which doesn't unlock until lvl 50.

Why do you have the wand equipped rather than the staff. Brand new and don’t understand the difference since you can cast both spells regardless of equipped weapon
I like the auto attack of wand better with the projectile passive. In the end, it doesnt matter with your skills because you swap weapons when you cast a spell off that weapon type
@redbyrdYT it does matter becuase one can provide stronger auto attacks.
@@toxyboiuntil we get some sort of dps meter I don’t think it’s that important, you may get more damage per attack but it’s probably slower than the wand autos, that’s the trade off
Depends later what passive/active you have on your weapon. Early game doesn’t matter much.
@@empyric949well it depends. I run curses for wand to do damage over time and heals;I use the staff for AOE/DPS. The curses go off of a % of weapon damage and if you switch them on main hand weapon damage for your build can change. Staff gives more weapon damage AKA your build does more damage making it better.
I dunno why ppl are not putting their skill like as they use the rotation like 1-2-3-4 ect it is sooo easy and u don't need to click million button different places lol

wand is for healing/support Staff has elemental damage spells with some support

not getting really clear info online: Does this game have auto-attacking combat like WoW? Because if this doesn't have a real time action combat system i won't even bother.

@@Ultradocker its actually not that bad because of the spec options it has. the servers are packed, some locked even, and we are having a great time.
