He absolutely nailed it with playing an Indian Guy. I never would have guessed that he was an American playing a highly intelligent but clumsy Indian physicist. I think he should have been cast in Indian movies because he was that convincing.

Fisher has that indian look due to his large nose and facial structure. He was a perfect castinf choice to play this indian role. Tom cruise, brad pitt, tom hanks etc could not pull it off and they are all caucasian

Great actor. Short Circuit 2 is a great movie. Holding Out for a Hero with Jay 5 is one of the best scenes in cinema history. My favorite movie as a kid.
Now obviously he could never do this role today, what people do n out realise that fisher was an actor desperate for the work when short circuit came out so he took this role, he also spent a lot of time studying Indian culture for this role. He really did work hard on this role to not make this role a piss take and as he says in this interview he spent a month in India as well preparing for the role

They’re filming the view of her asking the questions AFTER The interview has happened. So she’s just being told what questions she should re-ask based on what shots of her they want.

Now that he’s fallen off the map completely, he’s trying to latch onto the SWJ angle of 2021 to get back into the spotlight. Him and Azaria are nothing but has-beens looking for attention.
