- Terms I use if u don't know:
FADC - Focus Attack Dash Cancel
Forward - Medium Kick
Cl. - Close Standing
Cr. - Crouching
St. - Far Standing
Axe Kick - Ryusokyaku (Half Circle Forward + Mk)
Fireball - Hadoken (Quarter Circle Forward + Punch) -_-

Lk Axe Kick does more damage, so use that in FADC or red focus combos. If you are going to confirm off of the axe kick, use Mk, since it's safer (-2)

For fun I use Wesker, Zero, Ryu, Dante, Spencer, Akuma, Nova, Hawkeye, Captain America, and Deadpool. I can somewhat use Strider, Morrigan, Viper, Magneto, and Spider-man. The rest of the cast I can't really use. Let me know if u need a tutorial for any of them, I'm here to help.

So I’m trying this cr lp cr lp then cr mp tatsu shoryuken and it’s not letting me do the mp after the two lp or even if it does it doesn’t combo why is that?
Avi Rubin its a timing issue. In Sf4 u have to link the Lp xx Mp. It’s a lot harder than in Sf5. But basically u have to wait until the animation for the Lp is done then input the Mp. U cant mash it or anything like that either. All u can really do is just practice the link.
Whats easier for you im getting back on street fighter as well im thinking about trying an arcade stick instead of a controller i know its all about preference and all but your an expret and i want to know would it be easier if i use the arcade stick to pull off what your pulling off???
I personally play on an arcade stick. I started on pad playing UMVC3 then made the switch pretty early because I felt limited in what I was able to do on the pad. It was a struggle to fully learn how to use the stick but after like a couple months it was natural. Now, 10 years later, I cant even use a pad and I feel like arcade stick is much easier all around. But my buddy is just as proficient as me in some games and he rocks a pad so it really is just personal preference.

Maybe too late for 2 decades. Easy. the keyboard layout sometimes feels superior to do fighting games execution except for 720 motion.
If you have get used to playing with it. It's no difference with stick or hitbox doing any hard combos. Even keyboard is more efficient n precise to do certain execution.
I can do hard execution without plinking with evil ryu. Ex :
cr. Lp, s.hp xx mk axe kick, cr.mp xx lk tatsu, shoryuken FADC ultra 1.

+Erik Ortiz I believe that its a 1-2 frame link with the Cr.Mp. This means the link window is pretty small for the combo to continue. The easiest way to land the combo is by plinking the input. I would suggest practicing the Cr.Lp link first and getting comfortable with landing that link and once u mastered landing that, move to the Cr.Mp link. The timing is a bit different but its still similar.

Roms Mc Stone that is one frame link man. If you played on arcade stick learn the plinking tecnique. it would make a link become easier. I have no problem linking st. Hp but canceling hp to hcf + k is problem for me on pad. And doing starter combo with cr.lp, s. Hp is suck you have to very close enough to your opponent, so s. Hp could be connected.
1.04 combo cant seem to hit the light p off that stomp

So in this game, Evil Ryu only does 2 hits with his H Shoryuken. U can do 3 with the EX version for a little bit more damage. The one you probably seen do 3 hits is Akuma, as his H Shoyuken does 3 hits. Akuma also has the Cl.H xx L Tatsu xx H Shoryuken Combo

How do you do ultra combos? it doesn't say in command list and also how do you power up ryus hands
Makina Master7 ultra 1 is QCF QCF + All 3 punches, Ultra 2 is the same but all 3 kicks. I’m not sure what you mean by power up his hands.
@@TheRealAbridgedHero I am an old school player of street fighter but I don't understand all these codes and letters like QCF? cr. mp etc frame rates. I'm learning but really new to all the other stuff. for ryu I've seen a Japanese guy called diago do this hand swivel movement and his hands light up or something. I don't know if this is like a power up to make his moves stronger Idk really lol

Makina Master7 So u may have seen Daigo playing street fighter 5 or third strike. The only things i can think of is his V-Trigger from 5 or the parry system in third strike. As for the notations, QCF refers to the motions you have to input. For example, QCF is a Quarter-Circle Forward motion the inputs are down, down forward, and forward.
Makina Master7 plinking refers to a method in where u press a button and a frame after, immediately press that same button simultaneously with another button. For example, if u wanted to Plink a MP, Medium punch, you would press MP, then a frame after press MP+HP, heavy punch, at the same time. It sounds difficult but there are several techniques for doing it.
ok not eveyone is just standing up all the time what about combos that start with opponent crouching?
sorry for the late reply, but any combo that starts with close standing HP can be hit on a crouching opponent, Cl.HP forces the opponent to stand so you can tatsu/Axe Kick after. You can also link Cr. LP and Cl. HP together if you're starting your combos with that.
Abridgedhero ok well no one starts a combo with standing hp and the cr.lp to hp is not the easiest link to do
BUDDAz1g Starting a combo with the Cl.HP is more for punishing purposes or setup purposes. Other than that, the most commonly used option is the Cr.LP-Cl.HP link. It's a really key tool in Evil Ryu's playstyle. If you're looking for something else that just forces a stand, then the only things Evil Ryu has other than the Cl.HP is Cr.HP, or Cl.MK. You can also FADC into a Cl.HP off of a fireball poke if you can hit-confirm it. If those are giving you issues, I would recommend practicing the Cr.LP to Cl.HP Link because, like I mentioned before, It's a really important tool in playing Evil Ryu.
i understand that but i was looking for bnb combos that i can land online consistently. from the looks of it there is no decent damage bnb for use online. i can land the c.lp to hp offline no problem but online is another story the mashers always get me
BUDDAz1g If you're having a tough time against mashers, you can try and frame trap them or just throw in random DP. There's not much you can do against online players since it's basically a different game considering the Lag during inputs, and lag in general.

How to do Fadc?
Chavanun Siphomsay you cancel into focus attack then dash forward or back, Hence, Focus Attack Dash Cancel. For example with the low forward into fireball string, the command would be Cr. Mk xx QCF Punch xx Focus attack xx dash forward. Keep in mind that some moves aren’t safe on block when you FADC forward, like Shoryukens or Invincible reversals so you can FADC backwards to make it safer (Some characters can still punish FADC back bit it’s rare).
