Apparently, when making Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai looked at pro players and used their data to make the AI we have now. It'd be awesome to see how that would look in a Street Fighter game, as you would finally be able to fight something akin to Daigo's unpredictability and have to deal with the crazy combos he can do without actually having to ask the man himself.

michael scoggins Check out the transition between 86, 85 and 84 seconds more closely The 85th second doesn’t last as long as others and changes quick. There’s like 0.4 to 0.7 seconds missing. If it were a natural occurrence, Daigo’s combo timing would have been thrown completely out
Freakiest thing is 99% of Daigo's combos are all custom spur of the moment, none of them are established and all of them were just his mastery of SFIV's mechanics.

@@joviteh6355 From a viewers standpoint SF4 is soooo much more fun to watch, it's so fast paced. SF5 has gotten better since launch but id still watch 4 over 5 any day. Playing wise SF4 is fun because there's crazy combos and like ridiculous ones making moments like that last clip in this video memorable. A lot of those hits are one frame links and people dont get how hard some of that is to do especially in a tournament situation. I'm not saying SF5 is painfully easy but it's a lot more accessible and easier on new players than SF4

Fish for your one or two good buttons, confirm into whatever optimal combo there is, and maybe throw in v trigger or super at the end or extend it. rinse and repeat. Then many rounds you just get blown up because there is zero defense. You just block or try to mash a button those are your choices. Guess wrong and lose.

The hole in his chest is a reference to the Street Fighter III Final manga where Akuma blew a hole through his chest. That's represented in this game as Oni's Meido Gouhadou

Back then I never realized how hard some of these combos were to actually pull off. Not really a fan of that type of stuff, I think fighting games should focus more on the mindgames rather than mechanical skills, but it's impressive anyway.

FADC. Focus Attack Dash Cancel.
It's the main mechanic of this game. You throw out a Special, cancel into Focus then cancel the Focus with a dash.
