It does more damage and it doesnt use up your ground bounce in the beginning of the combo. It lets u extend in different ways and opens more combo routes with assists

@@red-knight39 yeah my bad bro the second combo. The first one, when i was playing is more consistent solo damage but it blows ur ground bounce early so if u have an an extention that requires a ground bounce then they’ll fall out. For example if u THC into vergil in the corner u can lunar phase into sword loops. Combo 2 lets u do it but combo 1 wont work

Qcf is Quarter Circle Forward(2,3,6 or Down, Down Forward, Forward) the skill gap from fighterZ to MvC3 is pretty big bro so u gotta have some patience. The only thing I can rly recommend when practicing the bold cancel into specials is just repetition. The cancel itself is pretty straightforward u just gotta be quick. I dont know the exact amount of frames u have to cancel out of the stinger but the way I time it is basically when the move hits, I press the cancel at about the same time it makes impact. Again there’s no real trick to the bold cancel its just something u have to keep practicing until u get the timing down.

I personally play on an arcade stick. I started on pad playing UMVC3 then made the switch pretty early because I felt limited in what I was able to do on the pad. It was a struggle to fully learn how to use the stick but after like a couple months it was natural. Now, 10 years later, I cant even use a pad and I feel like arcade stick is much easier all around. But my buddy is just as proficient as me in some games and he rocks a pad so it really is just personal preference.

I’ve been playing on arcade stick since 2012 bro but from what i remember of when i did play on pad, I had L/M/H/S programmed to Square/Triangle/Circle/X and hit Square/X (L/S) at the same time

Its explained at 4:02 but basically u Do a tiger knee motion (Down, down forward, forward, up forward; or 2,3,6,9,) so that you jump cancel into the acid rain.

@@eebcontent thanks! Appreciate the support! Glad You enjoyed the vid! So in this game, Evil Ryu only does 2 hits with his H Shoryuken. U can do 3 with the EX version for a little bit more damage. The one you probably seen do 3 hits is Akuma, as his H Shoyuken does 3 hits. Akuma also has the Cl.H xx L Tatsu xx H Shoryuken Combo

Honestly when it comes to motions, the best thing you can do is just practice executing the motion successfully over and over again until you can fo it consistently. Best way is to head to training room, turn on input display in the training options and just do a quarter circle forward motion into a move. Make sure when u check the input display that every part of the QCF is coming out. U always want the down, down forward, then forward to appear before the normal button. A common mistake is pressing the normal button before you complete the motion making you not able to do specials properly.

So the combo basically comes down to mechanics. In SF4 u cant cancel out of CHAINED normals, but you can out of LINKED normals. The reason u cant cancel out of more than one is because u are chaining normals together instead of linking them.

@@dragonic22 So basically when u rapidly press a light normal button, you can CHAIN the same normal together. This happens when you press the button before the actual animation finishes. In SF4 u can tell which moves can chain together by pressing them quickly in succession. For example, with Fei Long, if you press Lp, Lp u get a rapid string of light punches. But if you do Lp, Mp rapidly , you will just get a Lp. This happens because Lp and Mp are unchainable attacks. BUT, in most cases, you can LINK Lp and Mp. A link happens when you input the normal the moment the animation for the normal ends. This works because of the frame data of moves. For example, if you have a move that puts u at a +4 advantage on hit, you can LINK a 3 or 4 frame normal after the move hits. Albeit, it’s a little more complicated than that. All in all, remember CHAINS are rapidly canceled normals that you CAN’T CANCEL OUT OF. As to where LINKS are timed normals that you CAN CANCEL OUT OF.

Control Room the tricky thing about this game is that if you chain any normal, you cant cancel into specials. You have to link the 2 Lp’s so the cancel can come out.

Makina Master7 ultra 1 is QCF QCF + All 3 punches, Ultra 2 is the same but all 3 kicks. I’m not sure what you mean by power up his hands.

@@TheRealAbridgedHero I am an old school player of street fighter but I don't understand all these codes and letters like QCF? cr. mp etc frame rates. I'm learning but really new to all the other stuff. for ryu I've seen a Japanese guy called diago do this hand swivel movement and his hands light up or something. I don't know if this is like a power up to make his moves stronger Idk really lol

Makina Master7 So u may have seen Daigo playing street fighter 5 or third strike. The only things i can think of is his V-Trigger from 5 or the parry system in third strike. As for the notations, QCF refers to the motions you have to input. For example, QCF is a Quarter-Circle Forward motion the inputs are down, down forward, and forward.

Makina Master7 plinking refers to a method in where u press a button and a frame after, immediately press that same button simultaneously with another button. For example, if u wanted to Plink a MP, Medium punch, you would press MP, then a frame after press MP+HP, heavy punch, at the same time. It sounds difficult but there are several techniques for doing it.

Chavanun Siphomsay you cancel into focus attack then dash forward or back, Hence, Focus Attack Dash Cancel. For example with the low forward into fireball string, the command would be Cr. Mk xx QCF Punch xx Focus attack xx dash forward. Keep in mind that some moves aren’t safe on block when you FADC forward, like Shoryukens or Invincible reversals so you can FADC backwards to make it safer (Some characters can still punish FADC back bit it’s rare).

Avi Rubin its a timing issue. In Sf4 u have to link the Lp xx Mp. It’s a lot harder than in Sf5. But basically u have to wait until the animation for the Lp is done then input the Mp. U cant mash it or anything like that either. All u can really do is just practice the link.

Devil Leg Sanji do u mean cancel into/out of special moves, into supers, or cancel out of supers? If u mean cancel out of specials, all u can do is devil trigger or x factor out. If u mean after a stinger, u have to hit the bold cancel command (ATK+S) as soon as the stinger hits then immediately put the special move in. If u mean cancel into specials, all u do is input the special inputs.

Abridgedhero Hmm I will give u an example suppose I use cold shower and then prop shredder after that I can't change it into acid rain after a bit of lag it changes into acid rain but by that time enemy moves out of the combo.. also with Vergil when u use the upper slash with force edge I don't know that move name I can't cancel into dimension slash

Devil Leg Sanji okay so with acid rain ur gonna wanna tiger knee into acid rain. So the input would be down, down forward, forward, up forward (2369). Im not too familiar with the moves’ names with vergil but i know that ur gonna wanna cancel into super toward the end of the upper slash about the same time u would teleport down

Alex Devlin you can plink to make the timing less strict but the L Axe Kick xx FADC xx Cr. Lp is still a 1 frame link :/ it sucks but its THAT much more rewarding when u have it down lol

stefan savoury u can set a button to have a command bold cancel i believe
