Zoey placed the folder with the reports on the desk, put on her coat, and left the office. Today had been a tough day for her. All she wanted was to go home, make herself a hot tea with lemon, and wrap herself in a soft blanket. As she ran home, the drizzling rain and cold wind made her feel freezing.
Upon seeing that all the lights were on in her apartment windows, Zoey immediately shivered and stopped. She realized that her husband was drunk. As she approached the apartment building, her suspicions were confirmed. From open windows, she heard loud music and her husband's swearing with himself.
