a sort of rough recounting, but one time with a friend i had a pretty nasty encounter with a nemesis, the comrade had no idea that robot could break terrain and got suprised by it in the midst of getting an egg, inb4 shit hits the fan they get grabbed and a swarm arrives. mate got outta it's grasp and was drilling like hell to me while i was fending off the bugs and we were freaking tf out. thankfully we ripped up the tin can to shreds with some caution and killed the swarm. we also had to deal with a tyrant weed but it went somewhat well and we got out in the end. suffice to say, we were somewhat shellshocked from that one encounter out of a bunch we had before.
Yesterday I played a mission as gunner with guided missile and an over lock that increased direct damage and acceleration in exchange for ammo in a critical weakness data extraction. I saw a nemesis, shot it 3 times in the eye, and it died.
Had this exact same thing happen, only with a Crassus Detonator. Had drunk a Pots Of Gold Beer before the mission too, so made an absolute killing in gold 😊
I actually got to witness a Nemisis spawn today. Ran out from the drop ship, and a giant black orb appeared, then the arms, then the voice samples. Thankfully I was still able to nope back onto the drop ship.
@@lunaraine thankfully I was driller after some glyphid beer, so I just farted into its general direction and it self-exploded. It was really scary though.
One time, I landed ON a Crassus Detonator, like the whole drop pod landed on it.

That just happened to me today, had no idea until 2 seconds after leaving the pod and mines started teleporting around me

Had a dropship on nemesis last week, only saw the corpse of it and subsequent bomb teleports. Probably I had screenshot somewhere..
that is awesome, the random bomb teleports after that are scary tho, esp if you don't know what happened 😂
