I've purchased my Autel AL319 in 2016 after seeing the dealer use it to troubleshoot a code. No regrets except that I didn't purchase it sooner.
Edit: back then the AL319 cost 21.00.

What if all the lights are green and u get a green tick mark on the scanner but the dtc shows 1 red circle with number 1

Hello. On time 3:24, I explained that according to the mechanic, you are allowed to have 1 monitor not working. So with one system not working, it would technically pass inspection. BUT of course, there are exceptions to the rule. It will depend on the inspection location you go to. Some are very stringent that even a loose wiper will cause you to fail. Hi , what does "Pd DTC" mean ? I see many cars having this issue "Pd DTC 1"

Hello, It is a generic code.
PD=Pending
DTC=Diagnostic Trouble Code.
1= 1 fault found.
After that initial check, you can actually get the actual codes when you drill down the menu in the diagnostic tool. So in short, "Pd DTC 1" just notifies you that there is an issue with the vehicle. Hope that helps! -H2H
