Just said goodbye to my husband as he passed at home after a battle with cancer.He is so missed .I sent the original and Iam's version which I preferred to our son's.I hope it will help in their healing too.

This kid is the ONE. Once every 20 years a song or performance has the power to bring a tear. This is so healing for those of us that never got to heal. It literally lifts any anxiety I have away. I didn't ever think that was possible but this does it. Thank you Iam Tongi for bringing your pain to heal us.
Tongi has the voice of an angel! His audition took me back 11 years when my Dad was battling cancer and they told him there was nothing more they could do. He was my best friend and mentor. We came home that night and cried, hugged and had a final drink together. The last days I spent sleeping on the couch next to him keeping him comfortable. I love and miss you Dad! Tongi, you rock!!

I lost my dad three weeks ago and while it happened fast I’m eternally grateful I was able to be with him when he passed. This was absolutely beautiful and touched me deeply ❤ I love you and miss you dad
I'm sorry for your loss Chris. I lost mine 2 years ago and I kept his ashes until this April where I will reunite with all my sisters in Germany to spread his ashes in the water. I didn't have a good relationship with him, but I learn to forgive and trying to remember the Good Moments.

Didn't get to say goodbye to mine either. He was in a hospice and I was 5 minutes too late. He passed on Friday 13th May last year. That song had me in tears. Very talented, brave lad.x

I can feel this guy's pain. Its the same way I get when people ask me about my parents and the feelings are hitting. I honestly got emotional when he started singing.
I loved this -- his humility as he shared his broken heart, the soul in his voice, how kind they were to him.
I've been watching and auditioning for these vocal shows since Idol first came out in 2002. In that time, I've seen MANY emotional auditions. But none made me feel as emotional as this one. Incredible audition, great voice / playing skills and also a very powerful song.
