I've never been a fan of folks covering original artists songs but this young man has something special deep inside that grabs my heart and warms it like a double shot of corn liquor..... Iam Tongi brought this metal head to tears. That audition was some of the most moving music I have ever heard in my life. This man has a gift, and he deserves every single molecule of success.

I’ve never seen a more deserving winner on this show in all the years it’s been on. I love how he put his own spin on the songs he did. I found myself excited to see what he was going to sing next. I loved his spin on Lionel’s “Stuck on You”. Can’t wait to see what Iam does in the future!
I honestly think, That song being James Blunts song, he felt just as much raw emotion as Iam did. Iams emotions probably brought James back to the first time he wrote or sang that song.

It really doesn't matter the "minutes nor time" nor who's right. This is ALL beautiful that "time" really took us into a quiet mellow,, so to speak,, into a mellow loving peaceful heaven his voice brings into our mind heart and soul in which at same time,, fills the void we all need from within. His voice does what no other singer can nor will- bring. He is singing with a pure gentle loving caring yet hurtful heart. Bless this young man- always. ❤

I am crying with tears down my face. It has been almost 20 years since my father passed away and I still miss him. His voice is beautiful. I really liked how James Blunt touched his shoulder to make him feel better. It is hard to lose friends / family etc, but time does help, but it never removes the loss. I guess I will see my Dad once I move on from this world. I hope.

This young man is the best I've ever heard. Since A.I.winner I haven't stopped listening to him. Over and over and over. God did a fantastic job on this voice. God blessed him. I'm 73 and still have great taste when it comes to voices. The young man is a blessing.

I have not watched Idol in at least 15 years. I don't know anyone else on this season, but I feel bad for them. You can tell he already won with his audition. The way the judges react everytime he sings says everything.
As a performer, it really hits different when you relate to the song you sang. The emotion that you were able to convey to alot of people watching you sing is just different. You literally deserve the win.

I check in to listen to one song when it pops up, and I find myself listening from one song to the next, to the next, time stopped, with tears streaming down my face!! -Of course, smiles popping up as well, with the happy swaying sounds of the islands! I'm caught in the magical net of Iam's voice! It's not just a pleasant vocal - it reaches down into your soul and elicits a complete emotional response, as the spirit makes connection with our spirit. There's another voice that does that - touches your spirit every time and you'll find tears inexplicably streaming down your face - or at least , your spirit captured and touched -- that's the voice of Angelina Jordan - from when she was 7, until now (hundreds of songs on YOuTube). She and Iam, both sweet souls as well as singers, have instruments made by God, to connect us with heaven, and bless our time on this complicated earth! PLEASE OH PLEASE keep recording, Iam! I can't get enough of you!
