Eight minutes in and I've already seen more than what I carry out for a week bushcraft camping
Spray your bag thoroughly with the water protector they use for fabric boots. I do it once a year to my bags and umbrellas, or when I get them new. It helps a lot against soaking problem.
I think the new title should be "My EDC bag can beat up your EDC bag"...
Everyone's EDC is personal or specific to them. Looking for something more general suitable for all.
Women figured this out centuries ago, they called it a purse. Just kidding, my bag is even bigger and has more items. I'm kind of the dork that is addicted to stockpiling bugout and SHTF gear. Great video!
You need to compartmentalize your items into kits so when you need to find things in an emergency situations. It just makes it easier/quicker and organized. Lots of good stuff its just all over the place.
Wow! Totally impressed; I don't think you've forgotten anything...great job! Thank you for sharing! Bless you!🙏👍👍🎶
Alot of these items I thought about carrying myself and already do! Good to know I think on the same lines!
I Like This Kit! Great Life Preserving measures! But I suspect you can trim some weight from your Job EDC. 4 x batteries of 3 different types, plus you have recharging ability, could be re-evaluated per unit/shift schedule. 4 x notepads plus assorted pens/pencils is a bit much. Your buddies gotta learn to Square away the basics. Sanitize the outside of the bag to keep OPSEC. Leave the Unliked Waist Pad in the vehicle since it's not adding value, just weight. Add Low visibility Eye Protection, Map/Document Protectors, and On the Go Protein to help you do your job. Thank you for doing what many cannot!
Hello my outdoors friend awesome gear bag. Thank you for sharing. You have all the basic essentials. Take care out there and be safe. 🤗
Mirrors are also great for looking around a corner or over an object in a tactical situation. That way your not sticking your head or body out there. Duct tape and a stick and your set!
This is a great resource, the one that I have to recommend is a few paper funnels the type you get at a gas station. They are so handy.
Very nice kit! Well thought out, I’m going to make a few additions to my edc kit thanks too you!
I always suggest a sugar hit with a packet of confectionery (Lollies here in Australia. Candy in USA, Sweets in the UK) as you can get a bit of energy back or feel better if you are weakened.
Nice video! I don't carry near that much, and as you know, theres always stuff you need but dont have. I do find that extra socks (for either your feet or hands) quite often come in handy. Also, an extra set of glasses and safety glasses are quite useful.
The TNP patch says it all. Very well thought out system sir.
If BOB and EDC had a baby, this would be it. This is a great balance of both.
This is one on the best edc bags I’ve seen in a while.
Half of this shit is useless. Meo energy? Wet wipes? I will commend him for carrying at least one tourniquet. Most TH-cam bags don't have a gun or tourniquet.
@@codychildress7859 obviously you’ve never been outside overnight. If you need to hike, energy in the morning helps a lot. Wet wipes are absolutely essential for hygiene which will literally kill you in nature.
@@zBMatt exaclty...I have a toddler and I worked somewhat as a handyman. Wet wipes is essential for me
Awesome. Thanks. You take EDC to the next level. Everything in your bag makes sense. I have that very same syderco folder. Good choice. Thing I took away from the video was method of carrying you batteries. I will adopt that in my bag.
Great video! Love that TNP angry owl morale patch...
Dimitris Palavidis - yep and I love that John Lovell Warrior Poet patch too!
Great set up . I just bought the bag and was looking for inspiration for set up
That overly agressive unzipping of the bag😂
“They’re so light, so why not...”
😂😂 you’ve got everything else in there. Lol.
Pretty cool bag the way it keeps everything together. It's a good thing the smaller zipper doesn't open like a clam shells it would open on you and everything will fall out. I had a bag that opened like that Jasmine bag I wouldn't buy another one.
Very comprehensive kit. You may want to consider adding a silcock key for accessing water sources on the outside of buildings.
Think he needs a dolly to help transport all of that
Damn dude! Great idea! You talking your standard turn knob?? Hit me back and let me know. Thanks!
I was in plumbing for years that will come in handy water sourses every where
Very impressive and well thought out!
There's no food in that bag or toilet roll (needed even in buildings when the dispenser runs out) The rest is very well thought out. I use videos like this to checklist my own bag's contents. - Also hand sanitizer gel is indispensable.
I would definitely add food, of some sort. But as for the toilet paper......he already has some wet wipes.
Nice video, thank for sharing. That’s a lot of stuff for an EDC.
In with the cpr mask maybe add some gloves. It would be best to have that in a more accessible place, such as that wet wipes pouch.
Enjoy these types of vids. Great job. Cheers.
Thank you!
Thank you for this video plus list of items!! Suggestion for your supply: Harbour Freight carries sound amplifiers (hearing aid type). Good for when you need extra amplification on the trail, etc. Don't forget to remove them when/if you need to fire a weapon!
Well organized and thought out. I don't care for the two 1/4 zip on one side but overall a nice bag and it works for you. I do like the top compartment on this bag better than the 5.11 RUSH 12/24 bags that I have/carry. Thanks for sharing.
Yea it gave me a lot of ideas
Nice
Emergency blanket in case of shock victim etc would be worth adding.
Wow. You carry that everyday, everywhere? Maybe a practical discussion on how you have actually used that stuff would help.

@@SavageAirguns 🤣
Thank you for sharing, good stuff!!!!
This rocks. I’d love the list. I keep preps in my Jeep because my car is wherever I am mostly.
Thanks, I posted a list in the description.
PreparedAirman thank you 🙏
Hey mate! Love your work! Greetings from Australia;)
Best bag for a long time, a new subscriber.
Thank you for sharing, it's always good to get different opinions.
Boer Regards,
South Africa.
That was pretty impressive. Nothing else to say.
Love your video. You carry a few things others don't. I have a little keychain measuring tape myself, lol.
I have been very surprised how much I actually use a Measuring tape...... Alot lol
Great video! I appreciated all the little things. Good stuff, you have a new subscriber.
The flex armor is super sweet. Just in case some bum takes a pop shot.
What a pretty man. Nice EDC bag.
A hard case to protect the glasses would offer better protection.
Yeah zip ties... just in case you kidnap someone on the way home.... combine that with the duct tape and the kidnaped person will not scream 🤣🤣🤣
Really nice loadout.
Scott
Nice, I like the soft body armor.
awesome video, great content , cool bag and a warrior poet patch.. subscribed!
Warrior poet society!!! Hell yeah
I really like that bag may look it up. But you got some good stuff in there and for the tape ruler yea I got one in mine but may be shorter been looking for a 5ft one but great vidoe. Have a good week god bless
Some hidden emergency cash is handy too. Overall a great video, very easy to follow without lots of distraction or time wasting. Quality content. Some handy ideas, thanks for sharing :)
Agree; hidden cash in small bills is a great asset. Note the term "small bills.' In emergencies shopkeepers/cashiers may not be able/willing to make change. If you need a roll of toilet paper and only have a $50 bill, you have a choice to make.
@@DanielNighteyes well said :)
In shtf. Your paper money would be worthless.
How sweet, a heart shaped CPR's kids.
Id fill that extra space with a good emergency blanket and throw a few carbs in
Cc oils you tell us what each item is. Great description. But if we want to get one or some, we don't have the name or where you got them
thanks for the vids nice patches
Dam it now I have to put all the shit back in the bag lol great kit thanks for sharing!
great load out brother be safe
People can say what they want but my edc is similar to that but that's cause if you think about it it's a good idea cause if your out somewhere and shit hits the fan at least you know your prepared and have enough supplies to get back home or to wherever you need to be
hey man everybody has their own preference on what they like. Dont listen to the complainers, they got nothing better to do evidently!
like your kit what is the weight of every day carry bag so one can calculate how much tactical gear we can add to kit.
Good video! Thanks for your service
Travel light.... knowledge is king!
HOLY FACK!! that's your everyday bag? Not your "make it through the month" bag? 🤣
Definitely not edc more like get home or bug out bag.
LOL. I love this comment!
Yeah some of us carry a bag with similar contents every day. I keep one in my truck that’s almost identical to his with a couple of exceptions. I carry more of the flex cuffs with me than he does. And this bag is rather different from my true Bug out Bag which is the one I keep handy in case I have to just walk away. Also, my edc bag is different in how it’s carried. Mine can be carried over one shoulder or cross body so I can carry it while also carrying my full backpack (BoB). That way my edc compliments my BoB and I don’t have to duplicate anything. Think of it as a modular system. So you might want to rethink how you are organised.
Cheers mate and happy trails
My thoughts excatly , that's way way to much stuff for and edc bag.
i think this is for my carry on bag when I travel for a month oversea
The first thing I notice (less than a minute in)...it looks obvious. That bag makes you a target. It needs to be more "greyman".
I never wanted it to be greyman. Its a edc bag in normal life not a GHB or a BOB in shtf.
@@PreparedAirman fair enough, I still think it makes you a target for theft, terrorist attacks, jerks etc. Greyman is an everyday lifestyle in my books.
Yeah i thought that too. I don't get the who patch thing. Ive seen guys with tons of them. Im guessing one guy had like 20. In my job if i encounter someone with patches i give them special attention because almost all of them are armed and think theyre tacticool
I like it. I would not carry all of that but I do like it.
Dude thats really nice
Great video. Also have a Fatpack 5x8. Picked up a few tips, thanks. I highly suggest "StallMates". I've been using them for years. ATB.
Great kit, i guess the only thing i would add would be a dedicated waterproof bag cover. I know you have the bin liners. But the backpack cover would hardly weigh anything and will be very small.
I very like your EDC bag,so great!
I love that bag i wonder about a grey man color type but. Absolutely love this bag.
Yes. I also have a Vanquest Triton 20 in grey
Interesting bag. I have a 5.11 Rush 24 for an EDC bag and it works great! I know that if I have my bag I automatically have everything I need for the day, with a couple of things to help me if SHTF. I have plenty of extra storage, and not nearly the amount of stuff you do but that’s because I don’t need it so why add weight?
Paranoia... lol Jk. Just like to have my bases covered. I could slack down on alot and probably will soon. Ill probably do a video on it aswell.
Very good ideas. Thank you very much
All those notebooks he must have been a combat air controller
Great vid! Whats your job btw
Thanks👍

From England.
Nicely done.
I have been watching a lot of gear reviews for hiking and camping gear mostly for the past few weeks and I stared watching a few gear load outs and yours came up. Some of my stuff id decades old and I thought this would be a good way to see what new things are out there.
It is nice to see someone carrying first aid gear with the them. I try and preach that people should always look at taking a first aid course before even buying a big first aid kit. Something new I found this year was Leukotape. It works as a strong bandage or tape and can immobilize limbs. I wrap some around a pill bottle or iodine bottle and it peels off and is good to go. It holds strong and works great for blisters. Not sure if you had any in your first aid kit, but I thought I'd pass on something I have recently found and that works for me.
The bag you have looks pretty good to. What abouts does it weigh?
I actually just found out about leukotape recently aswell. Its great! I always have it close on hand. When i first discovered it i was wondering where it has been all my life lol
Nice kit !! Just curious. What does this setup weigh ?
You should definitely add a poncho to your pack, they always come in handy.
The wife really likes it if I carry hand warmers... and EDC body armor, of course. I've carried it for about a year now, Haven't used any of it, so I just carried it for the last year. :)
Well, you carry as much stuff as my mother does in her purse! 😂! Just kidding! She does lug a lot of stuff around but not quite the same quality of content 😉 Next time I go on a hunting trip or camping trip I'm putting you on the guest list!
The badges can hold emergency fishing and sewing gear :)
Need 50’ of 3/16 “paracord & survival blanket, since my hands are pretty much trashed as far as writing, I would dc all writing pens but 2, ink & pencil, 1 writing tab, 1-1st aid kit, 3 MRE’s, etc everyone’s got their own preference, I would add some beef jerky & trail mix bars. Good bag! Shalom!
Great set up. I would suggest tape(maybe rolled into a half a plastic card , nail clipper and tweezers
ps I like vanquest for its organization , I have a dendrite and love it
great edc and cute! new subscriber definitely
😂🤣😂🤣😂👍
Great 👍 set up nice video
Would love to know where you got the backpack and if there are any more that have been made.
www.vanquest.com/trident-31-backpack/
Great video, comprehensive gear. Easy to argue too much or not enough but in the end it comes down to what you want. My only comment is the bag screams that's it's a bug out bag and you become a valuable target. I'm sure with that gear list, you're prepared to defend yourself with a CC and keep that bag. I try to use bags that don't scream tactical or stand out. Not to highlight your TH-cam competitors, but there is a channel GreyBeardGreenBeret and he packs a GOBag in one of 5.11's CC bags that is colored and designed to blend in. Of course, his goal is to use his bag to get him out of a situation back to either his vehicle, home, or other location where he has a larger stock pile of gear.
Have you thought about adding a camera or gopro to record incident / events?
For the wilderness, also consider: Compass, wire saw, fixed blade bush knife, tinder, sewing kit, fish line and hooks, bear spray, a Buff.
I’m also trying to get custom lenses for Foster Grant folding reading glasses. I believe they’re called Foster Grant Gideon reading glasses? They fold up and slide into a case about the size of a zippo lighter. I just need custom lenses because I don’t need readers yet.
Great video. One thing maybe, I would remove all exterior badges. It’s a little to high profile. Thank you.
I’ve carried the little brother Trident 20 for years. What is the brand name of the poison ivy relief product?
Which wire do you prefer for a swedish log plz ?
Great bag, now i need to get myself a measuring tape for my man purse! How do you feel about map and compass? I recently added a map of my local area and have a simple compass. If i have to walk home from the city its either 6 hours over a mountain, 3 hours trough a train tunnel or a looong walk along the roadside. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you. I might have to add that. I have one in the Get home bag but not the EDC bag yet.
I guess it depens on the situation then, If you have both in your car and the car is near. Here its not really an option to take the car to the city on a daily basis, just to costly. Wish i could bring along a proper Get home bag but not sure how well that will look in an university setting hehe!
@@ThePreparedNorseman You are absolutely correct. Not every bag is the same different people, different situations mean different bag setups. You should make a video yourself and share your setup.
Will look into it, my gopro is not very healthy these days but maybe I can give it a go :p
@@PreparedAirman Did a quick overview of my bags contents (also one of my pocket lint in a separate video), just to share whats in there. Will see if I can make something more in dept at some later point.
please give me a link for that body armor. thanks for the vid.
www.ar500armor.com/body-armor/soft-body-armor.html
If the apocalypse happened tomorrow this dude would be set for about a year 😆
I like the bag but I don’t like how they made it to how it opens more on one side than the other but nice setup
Great video. Thanks for sharing. 🍭
Nice set up but I would also include emergency shelter and bivey along with a designated fire kit and also a few ranger rolls of cloths in 2 gallon zip lock bags or white tall kitchen garbage bags for dry cloths just in case. It helps along with dehydrated food like mountain house or any other brand and along with a small mess kit and folding wood stove or alchahol stove to cook with and boil water.
Just trying to keep it light, but i do have all that stuff in my GHB which is always in my vehicle. th-cam.com/video/C-F-LPb875Y/w-d-xo.html
