*Update* One thing I don't think I made obvious enough in terms of the 'lines' part at Tokyo this refers to both sides not just the far side Basically DON'T CUT!😅
Also, if you go to far inside the INSIDE white line at the hairpin and incur a race penalty you will lose the race bonus. It happened to me. I didn't even realize that was a thing on Tokyo. Bottom line, race the hairpin clean and don't hit or get hit by AI to keep the bonus. Good video.
@naffantait The apologies are mine, I forget sometimes that I am a visual learner, (more so than auditory). So when you said "lines" but showed the car going to the outside cones, I failed to make the full connection. The fact you said "lines" as in plural, should have clued me in to make that connection. Sorry.
Funny, I love the Tokyo grind race so this video really helps, I mostly get the clean race bonus tho but now I know how to lose it aside from hitting the AI
Great video! I thought I lost the clean race bonus at Le Mans due to accidentally slamming into the opponents during the rain, but this clears it right up.
Glad I could help😊👍 As far as I'm aware the CRB at LeMans hasn't been changed since it's release along with Sardegna & Spa So far with the 100's of times I ran those events it's only been the yellow flags causing me to lose the CRB
Great video. I just did spa for the weekly event. It was my first time there and I thought I drove it cleanly until i was dive bombed on the last lap by a lap down second place cars. I lost the bonus. I had been thinking that it would be worth trying here but I can do sardegna in 27 minutes, no weather and less chance of losing the bonus. Its more of a sure thing and half the time to make a mistake.
All about the flow Once you've done it a few times it almost becomes a loop, using the same car you'll see a pattern emerge of where you'll catch traffic, when to overtake & such
Could you make a similar video to explain the time penalties for track limits? When we race private lobbies we always compare track limits and we don't recognize when or how the penalties are applied? Thanks
Tokyo is inaccurate, small contacts with the AI (at least when lapping them, haven't tried lap 1), like door to door contact or even a small bump up the back don't cost you the bonus older cars. You can however lose the bonus if you go off into the runoff or cut beyond the kerb on the inside, both on the final hairpin i'm pretty sure.
I have pretty much ignored yellow flags my entire gt7 career and ive never lost the crb or gotten a penalty. In fact on Spa ive had 5 cars spin out during heavy rain, passed all of them during yellow flag, and got the crb. As a matter of fact, I dont think ive ever NOT gotten crb on Spa.
Fastest Tokyo due to the builds there being really fast but very much catered towards confident drivers Easiest LeMans as 700pp is a very comfortable limit for most cars & due to it being time limited it's a very easy event
My fave is Spa 1hr, it’s as close to GBS 300km as I can get these days, the rain can mix it up pretty good too, I use the CLK GTR and have won by two laps and lost by 30+secs, plus the fade from day to night to day again is fantastic,
What pi$$es me off the most about this is how pointless the discussion is. Solving it is so easy - a simple on-screen indicator showing the CRB status - problem solved. For such an important part of the game, it's MENTAL that there isn't one.
Thanks for another amazing video. What was your Nissan you were using when explain spa i really would love to know your guide tune on that car. I prob missed that one if you have done that one.
Changes from update to update & its also very dependent on drivers skill Some may be faster in a certain car over someone else so its about finding that sweet spot for yourself
Haven't a clue mate. Very strange considering how prominent they were in older titles. However I do have a theory which could be way off but over the years there's been many reports from the Asia region of gamers doing ridiculously long stints with videos games or in Internet cafés & dying as a result of heart attacks & such. It's always made me wonder if there's some sort of rules & regulations to discourage that type of play & with PD being from Japan it wouldn't surprise me if this is the case these days. Could be totally wrong but that's just my theory
@@naffantait could very well be the H&S card, or to at least discourage kids stuck at their console for chunks of time, I was a sucker for the enduros myself and how amazing would they be now fading from day to night in real time with weather, I still secretly hope they will be introduced
@gbarnewall1 let's hope mate! Even if its just more 1hour events people want them including myself & they need to be repeatable unlike the mission challenges

@@freeclimb5487 I’ve done the race 5 times yesterday, 5 different times how I drove it and the moment you hit a wall hard, any wall, you don’t get the clean race bonus
That's really not the case, you can hit any wall & take as much as damage as you wish just ensure when you get the final hairpin you take extreme caution That part of the track will cause the CRB loss along with hitting the AI no matter if you hit them or they hit you
@@naffantait True. I did it a bit to begin with (I desperately wanted the Shorttail F1 GTR) when it was glitched, but I didn't really enjoy it much, and now I'd rather just do races I enjoy (particularly Spa 1 hour, even though that's one of the worst credits/time grinding events).
Could you people stop giving such stupid advice? It goes so far again, as with Tokyo Expressway, where everyone gave exactly such tips, including wallriding, that meanwhile the cleanrace bonus is awake at the slightest touch of an AI!

You are correct, I've pinned the comment as I'm guessing my reference of the 'lines' isn't made obvious enough in the video

that one hour race is a nightmare for yellow flags...the cars will spin out while your already in yellow.. keep heavy wet tires on the entire race!

During the yellow flag it's the cars that are still racing that you can't pass not the ones that spun out. That is why you didn't lose CRB.
