Yeah it’s an awesome game! To answer your question, I like to design it in the same style as an old game called ‘The Simpson’s: Hit & Run’, good space, great symmetry and plenty of lore/Easter eggs!
Thank you; honestly early on is quite difficult you always have to invest first, before you later see a return. At the beginning of my game I invested into White Houses over and over again, I never had money, now I make a mill a day from those houses. I don't think thats possible anymore but I would just recommend doing the main quests, you'll unlock characters and buildings along the way, the more characters you have the more money you'll get... if you know you will be on the game twice a day, set the characters on 12 hour jobs... once a day then 24 hour jobs etc... maximize your profits :)

How did you get those donuts? The donut factory would only give you 180 donuts per month.
