Both the Bio Bidet BB-2000 Bliss and the Brondell Swash 1400 are high quality bidet toilet seats with the utmost in performance and luxuries. These bidet seats are fully loaded, meaning both will come with a heated seat, endless warm water, warm air dryer, adjustable nozzles, slow closing seats and lids, wireless remote, adjustable spray pressure and more. These are features that both the Bio Bidet BB-2000 and the Brondell Swash 1400 have in common, but let's take a closer look at the key differences between these two high end bidet toilet seats.
    Differences in Design:
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so we’ll let you make up your own mind about which bidet seat you find more attractive.
A key difference between these two models is that the Bio Bidet 2000 has its electrical cord on the right side when facing the toilet, while the Brondell 1400 has its cord on the left.
Both the BB-2000 and Swash 1400 are available in the Elongated size, but only the 1400 also has Round size option.
    Spray Pressure:
In terms of spray pressure, there is a significant difference between the two models. The Bio Bidet BB-2000 offers some of the strongest, if not the strongest spray pressure out on the market. If both models are set to maximum spray pressure, the BB-2000 will be about 30-40% stronger than the Swash 1400. This is not to say that the Swash 1400 has a weak spray, it’s just that the BB-2000 specializes in this field.
    Water Heating Type:
Both models offer endless warm water, but their heating methods are different.
The Brondell Swash 1400 utilizes a tankless water heater, meaning that there is no reservoir within. The water heats up instantaneously and continues to produce warm water.
The Bio Bidet BB 2000 on the other hand has a hybrid heater. It has a heated reservoir that keeps a small supply of water warm, while also heating the water during a wash to offer an endless supply. There’s no initial lag, but the drawback is it uses more energy while idle.
    Unique Features:
Night Light: The Swash 1400 has a blue in-bowl LED nightlight. The BB-2000 on the other hand has a small blue LED light on its auxiliary control panel.
    Enema Function:
The Bio Bidet BB 2000’s unique feature is an enema function that provides exceptional use. It’s a powerful, yet very narrow spray that provides constipation relief. The Swash 1400 does not have this feature.
    Sittable Lid:
A sittable lid is a very unique feature that allows a user to sit on the bidet seat’s lid when it’s closed. The Brondell 1400 offers a sturdy, sittable lid that supports close to 300lbs. The BB-2000 lid is not sittable.
    User Presets:
The Brondell 1400 has the ability to save 2 user presets on the remote control. This will save the water temp and spray pressure settings of 2 different people. The Bio Bidet 2000 does not have this feature.
    Remote Control:
The remote for the Brondell Swash 1400 is clear and well laid out to provide an overall feel in your hand that is very ergonomic.
The Bio Bidet BB-2000’s remote is a bit more robust in its overall body size. The remote is ergonomic although a bit thicker, and can be preferable for those who wish to have a bigger remote with an LCD screen.
    Differences in Nozzle:
Both the Bio Bidet BB-2000 and the Brondell Swash 1400 use stainless steel nozzles with antimicrobial technology. Both seats have self cleaning systems for keeping the nozzles clean between uses. The Bio Bidet 2000 uses on single nozzle with 3 sections for its 3 wash functions. The Brondell Swash 1400 uses a dual nozzle system with one nozzle for the rear wash and the other for the front, feminine.
    Suitability for Heavier Users:
From our research here at BidetKing we have found that the Bio Bidet BB-2000 is better suited than the Swash 1400 in handling larger users. Rated up to 420lbs, the BB-2000 has a nice sturdy seat and when combined with its great spray pressure - is ideally suited for users over 300lbs.
The Brondell 1400’s seat also feels very sturdy, but its spray pressure strength is not well suited for larger users.
    Warranty Coverage:
The Brondell Swash 1400 is covered by a 3 Year Manufacturer's
    Limited Warranty
The Bio Bidet 2000 is covered by a 3 Year Manufacturer's Full Warranty
    Conclusion:
The overall conclusion? The Brondell Swash 1400 is the ideal bidet seat if you want a quality bidet with sittable lid, user presets, in bowl LED light, and prefer average spray pressure.
The Bio Bidet BB2000 is for you if you prefer stronger spray pressure, would like an enema function, and/or are a heavier user (over 250lbs).
    Which one is better?
Well that’s a matter of what you value in a bidet and what suits your individual needs - these are both fantastic high end bidet seats.

I used to own Brondell Swash 700 which broken in 2 years then replaced with Brondell Swash 1000 but it's heating system broken again in 1 year. Switch to TOTO in 2018, knock on wood, still good.

I'm quite certain something can be done about the lesser pressure of the Brondell as neither seat has a pump but rather the pressure potential is that of your home's water pressure. The Brondell likely has a more restrictive filter which could be changed out to allow for more pressure.

    • @BidetKing
      @BidetKing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

They do have internal pumps that regulate spray pressure of the water. The other important aspect is the heating - the seat can only heat so much water instantly.

I just installed the Brondell Swash 1400 yesterday. I had to turn down the water pressure to make it comfortable, so the pressure was not an issue. I have the user presets are nice. My only complaint is the that bowl light is on all of the time. I do not see why they could not make it so the light would not go out when the lid is down. Otherwise it looks like a really nice seat.
I will follow up with additional comments as I have more experience with the Brondell.

What is the cord length for the biobidet? My plug is on the left side of the toilet...

4 feet. I’m really tight on the cord to my outlet. If you want, get a 3-prong compatible extension cord.

I just bought the brondell s1400. And doesn’t work the.. lights of the power button and the seat temperature button are flashing and ringing and nothing happens I tried everything but still nothing and I just watched a video on TH-cam that may be elettrical problem so you have to open the bidet and change the electronic part with a new one….I still can’t believe that doesn’t work I’m really disappointed and very angry at the same time because I live in Australia and when I order it from the USA amazon it cost me double price to come in Australia and now doesn’t work.I also notice from. The comments of few people they are having the same issue and other issues with this shit product…be careful people

Wait. So you're telling me I can not sit on the bio bidet 2000 lid?

    • @BidetKing
      @BidetKing  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

That is correct. Most bidets on the market are not designed with a sturdy lid that can be sat on. Although the Alpha JX, as well as the Brondell Swash 1400 include a strong sturdy lid that can support up to 320lbs.
