    Yours is the only video I've seen where someone was actually sitting and using the bidet. Thanks for providing a man's view of the machine. Saving up money now to buy one.

    Great review. One warning you left out is about using wrenches on the rubber gasketed hose fitting. This type of fitting should be HAND TIGHTENED or in the case of the 3/8" line, VERY gently turned with a wrench. Tightening this type of fitting too tight will cause the metal mating surface to cut into the rubber, causing a leak and ruining the hose.

    This is the best youtube 'how-to' and review I have ever seen, by far. It was super easy to follow along the 'how-to' installation, and the entertainment value of the review was off the charts hilarious. Thank you for putting this video together! Dec 4, 2021 (UPDATE). We have since purchased the Bio Bidet BB2000, installed it (with help from the GeekSmart video, of course) and now using it. The install is as easy as shown in the video, I think it took me about 15 minutes, and that was taking my time. The remote has a ton of options, I generally use just the regular wash with the side-to-side (probably wrong technical term) buttons. We keep the seat heat on the first setting, but also use the energy saver button. The water pressure it crazy powerful, so much so we actually keep it down to the second from the least powerful. I tried the turbo once, way too powerful for me unless I enjoy being tortured. All-in-all we love the bio bidet bb2000.

    Hilarious AND helpful video. Thanks for posting it. My plumber did the install since I needed a new elongated toilet to make it work so I basically watched for the remote operation. Over all a great video.

    Thanks for the great video!! My plumber installed my bidet when he installed the rest of my bathroom, so I didn’t see the install of my biobidet 2000. I’ve been wondering how to remove it for cleaning, and your video gave me the answer I needed plus all the rest of the information on how it was installed should I ever have to troubleshoot. So, thanks for your help. I’ve subscribed to your channel to see what else you might be able to help me with!

    One thing I haven't seen talked about in most bidet reviews is hair and how it impacts the "performance" of the bidet. I have a bidet and I can say with certainty that a bidet works much better on someone who shaves/removes their hair down there than on someone who does not. In the case of the latter, the bidet does certainly help, but it does not completely negate the need to use *some* TP.

    • @GeekSmart
      @GeekSmart  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can see that, I don’t shave down there but I could see it working better without the hair

      Might as well get a shampooer..while you’re at it, shampoo it then use a conditioner then rinse with the bidet…then don’t forget to dry it and then braid it….🤣🤣🤣🤣

    I’ve heard a lot about these; was highly recommended by my healthcare professionals. Unfortunately, as a disabled person, I do not have enough of an income for such extravagance 🙁.

    • @sortathesame8701
      @sortathesame8701 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are other bidets that are not nearly as expensive as this one. There are even bio-bidet brand seats that are less expensive. I am also disabled, with a degenerative joint disease that means I cannot bend my back properly. These bidets are not an extravagance at all, they are a necessity for some! I hope you can find one that fits your budget and that you love it as much as I love mine. I am looking for a new one now as mine is several years old and I want something new for my retirement home.

    Originally I bought a Toto C100, but tbh I felt like the seat was really small, at least for my liking. So I got this biobidet becausei read it had a bigger seat that most others, and yeah I’m pretty happy with it my only nitpick is I would’ve preferred the night light around the seat instead of the side controls but overall it’s a great investment

    Regarding the fan, a couple sheets of toilet paper to dry off the excess water (and to make sure the water's done the job) then use the fan, it'll dry you off pretty quickly that way. You still cut right down on toilet paper usage and your butt ends up feeling like your hands do after using the airport hand dryers.

    Vortex mode is the defining feature of this bidet over others IMHO. It should be called 'never strain to poo again' mode because that is its function. Crank up the power and temp, align it just right so that it shoots into your bum, arch your back for good posture and maybe even clinch slightly. Soon your rectum will fill with water and at that point it will not matter if you want to shit or not, much like 2020, it's happening with or without your active participation. For me, if I feel I have to force the movement at all... bam vortex button.

      Buy one. I just upgraded from a toto c200 and don't regret it at all. There is one setting he touched on, but didn't use. If you start the wash and hit auto, it shoots pulsating water, cleaning and massaging the area. It feels great. Something the c200 failed to execute properly. I do have a few complaints, though. The seat seems to run a bit big, and the white paint doesn't match my toilet, whereas the toto fit my toilet and blended perfectly.

    No, never use Teflon tape on the treads of compression fittings. The seal is made at the compression fitting or rubber seal and Teflon tape on the treads can only interfere with proper tightening.

  • @WickedStepGranny

    Of all the bidets you have had in your home, are any of the lids SITABLE? I'd hate to have to post in the bathroom a note on the toilet telling guests that they can only sit on the toilet/bidet with the lid up because otherwise they will crack/break the lid.
    Also, the actual bidet seats which are the most comfortable? I know you have said you prefer one and your wife the other. Neither my husband or myself have small derrieres.

    Do you experience input lag on the seat? When I hit auto wash, it takes 8 seconds for the nozzle to come out, all while its counting down from 30, so i only get washed for 22 seconds, then dried for 54 seconds in stead of 1 minute. Also, the oscillating nozzle literally sounds like a train chugging along when it gets up to full speed. Do you experience this as well?

    • @DickWigglin
      @DickWigglin 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      By the way. Great choice on your first seat. I bought the toto c200 because it was name brand and this thing, in my opinion, is much better. It cleans better, the pulsating function actually messages you, the dryer is better, it has an enema that really works, etc. It does have a few drawbacks, but they're pretty insignificant since it cleans and dries so well.

    During the Pandemic while watching Toilet Paper Wars where videos of people going zombie mob, punching, kicking, and jumping off the top turnbuckle to purchase an item to combat a respiratory disease, went viral. I wanted to leave this hog like mind set and I made the switch. I was a water bottle digital cleaner and ready to make the technological leap to moving my bowels handsfree. Males still need the ladle to pour over their front facing aperture because there still is no front cleaning for males. During first uses you do still need a wash cloth and a soapy rag.
