My opinion too. I was laughing when he said he is going to rely on her for pension and benefits...it won't go that far. If anything happens like if he loses job due to bad economy, he will be out of home.
so ... (almost) 40% of your 200k income goes to tax? I think we do need high tax for wealthy, but 40% tax on those two total working class graduates is kind of rough.
Steven Z That’s what people making 40k a year never understand. Once you make more than 100k a year it’s good to always think of your income in terms of net after taxes.
Steven Z those working class graduates are billionaires compared to the rest of the 3rd world so why tax the “wealthy” only? There just as rich as the “wealthy” in this country. so why do you have sympathy for them but not the “wealthy”?

Please hire me USA
No
Inflation hits hard. 30k in many other countries is a lot but here you can barely get by in certain areas. 200k is a great income in the US, but it’s not an insane amount.
USA California -especial Bay area has huge costs associated living there. Is like $80k living in different part of USA. Or Maybe like $30k living in your country. You need factor in costs and not think how much based on your country costs.
I have visited the bay area and yes they have insane prices. But with smart budgetting tools and creative cooking at home, one can save a lot. I dont know anyone who will say 200k isnt enough hahaha
Dean Tan Not enough to buy a house.
Adorable dog! Happy for you!
I wish they said how much total loans/debt they have. They make too much to have that hanging around. Pay off debts first especially if you have high interest rates!!
Also I'm really glad she loves her job and it makes her happy. That's a great feeling. :)
What if it’s a student loan they’re be stuck forever before even starting anything. A balance is good, work towards paying off and invest however they want
I'm pretty sure it's low-interest student loans they're way too frugal and have way too many cards for it to be regular debt
Great video! They are clearly on top of things ✨
40k in a wedding is crazy. I spend around $600 on my wedding, after 8 years we are happy and still married, friends and family that I know spend 5k, 8k, 12k, 15k in their weddings and few years after they are divorced, paying child support and broke. BTW came here after watching Graham.
I like Scott. His plan for real estate is sound.
CNBC people wondering how Graham Stephan hijack their show and comments.... including this one! lol, now guys, go to one of Graham's videos and SMASH that Like button!
Nah, just gently tap it
For real
I guess I'll be the only one not talking about Graham.
That marriage is already doomed. They're not joining bank accounts. You can't act single with finances but be in a marriage. Just doesn't work like that. They're future goals aren't even aligned. Sorry dude, but you're getting the raw end of the deal if you're paying up front and hoping to get some of that sweet Pension benefits at the end. It won't get that far. She'll definitely get it though. On her own. Good luck! You make good money, you'll be alright.
My opinion too. I was laughing when he said he is going to rely on her for pension and benefits...it won't go that far. If anything happens like if he loses job due to bad economy, he will be out of home.
who tf is graham
The graham Stephen show
Ya'll have to remember too, 200k in SanFran is nothing. 118k in SanFran for a family of 3 is considered poverty level.
YES FINALLY AN ACCOUNTANT!
OHHHHH GRAHAM IS GONNA LOVE THIS!
I would love an update on them after COVID!!!
Engagement has been called off 🤣
Yesss, finally they put an accountant on here #accountantsunite 🙋🏽♀️💪🏽💕
I like their lifestyle accept for saving 5k a month, but only paying 600 a month on student loan debt. As I always say, just pay the debt off first. But otherwise, smart gang!
If it is low interest, the cash can make more, on average, than the interest would cost!
I live in the bay area and make around the same amount. I'm a little surprised they call themselves poor?? my husband and I live a very good life on the same salary and in no way would ever say we are poor.
30% rent, 40% food, 5% tranportation, 25% weed.
Graham is watching. God of money.
I think Graham will enjoy this.
This couple has it figured out. Great job
Wow - they save more than half their money! In fact, their savings are more than the median household income! That's what I call good financial sense!
Unless they decide to start a family. That will throw a big wrench in their plans.
I saved 100k 2 years out of undergrad. Can’t be that rare. And i took a few months off before getting a job.
They’re definitely not on the same pego.... he needs to drop her now
Super couple, wish you all the luck with your futures. Very competent and balanced.
Fun Fact! One does not need to be a professional accountant to "budget and know what you are spending"
I make $212k as a single individual. Feeling pretty proud watching.
I think Graham will be pleased. Just look at all those credit cards!
I´m here because of Graham Stephan,he should totally be in your show one day.Graham, make it happen.
I live in California and boy it’s expensive in the Bay Area! That’s why a lot of people commute
