welcome to my first few weeks of fall quarter, FRESHMAN YEAR! (technically its an accumulation of week 0, 1, and a random week in the middle of the quarter so please forgive me). i seriously cannot believe an entire quarter has already zoomed by and i am here, sitting in a study cubicle procrastinating on my hw and editing this fall quarter video DURING WEEK 6 OF WINTER QUARTER. i truly intended to update you guys on my college life more often, but midterms and life just got in the way! i hope you guys didn't forget about me...

I had one and people just did not want to talk to me. 😭😭 What made it worse is that I don’t live in the campus, nor live close to the campus either so friends are hard to make. I tried talking to people on the first day of class for both terms, fall and spring, yet people are like “Why is she talking to me? Get me out of this!” In their minds.

this is legit my dream school so in high school imma work hard in high school to get good grades and apply for as many scholarships cause one my mom dosent make enough and two imma make my family proud :)
You can definitely get in! I made a video about how I got in with 1300 SAT. I come from a low-income background as well. YOU CAN DO ITTT

@@madisonmoore1567 U have to be better than the other kids. Im talking about internships, grades, and extracurriculars. They all have to be outstanding.
Grades: Straight A's
Extras: Have to be the top of the top in ur specific extracurricular.
Internships: Search up what internships are available in ur field of interest (medical internships, coding internships, and business internships etc.) then see if you have the credentials to apply for them. Internships start from the ground up. You have to go to the lower quality ones before going to the prestigious ones.

I made a bunch of friends and I ended up with like 4 close friends (one of which is my now bf which is nice). Everyone except for the bf is acting like an asshole tn so I’m back to having no friends and walking around campus alone :/ hopefully it gets fixed or I find other friends soon bcs everything is so boring rn lol

I’m a first gen Latina too!! i worked throughout high school and am working here in college too. i don’t know where you live and I’m sure there are differences, but if you have any questions I can try and help!! I’m at UCLA too and really want other Latinas and POC to come to this school 💖🥺 however I know we most likely live completely different lives so I’m sorry if my advice isn’t applicable :(
