It is not bad, everything being done in China is in effort to slow the spread of the virus and slow down it's mutations, the cities on lockdown was a decision the Chinese government made which the world health organisation said was not necessary, but welcome non the less. The Spanish flu had a 20% mortality rate where as this virus has a 3.1% mortality rate. You've more chance of slipping and cracking your head in the bathroom than of dying from this.
