I think Lebron is the goat because of one main reason: MJ didn t have competition he had the best defender and rebounder of the time. He also had good shooters like kukoc and steve kerr and the most competition he played was the jazz and they werent even good. But Lebron played against a team that had 5 allstars: Curry, Klay, KD, Draymond, Cousins. All lebron had was love and kyrie and both of them were injured at the time

The huge thing about LeBron leaving Cleveland was that Cleveland at the time (2010) was going through one of the worst sports droughts ever. It would constantly get clowned for their winning less franchises, and LeBron said that he would bring a championship to Cleveland, but he left. He made up for it and more when he ended Cleveland’s 52 year drought of a sports championship in his 3-1 comeback over the golden state warriors

    • @T_M_E_8

Anthony Gerace that’s because after 7 years with no help he realized he could never win by just himself, and the only reason they ever won was due to the first round draft pick in Kyrie Irving. I’m not accusing you of this but I think people forget how bad his cavs team was before he left, and it was a miracle that they even appeared in the finals.

Lebron is who I think is the best ever. But my favorite player ever is Tim Duncan, Mr. Fundamental. 5 time NBA champion and he played for 20 years playing only for one team. He’s the greatest Power Forward ever

Michael Jordan is the best basketball player I've ever seen!LeBron is among many that could claim 2nd place.Magic Johnson,Larry bird, wilt Chamberlain, bill Russell,Kareem abdul-jabbar,etc,LeBron came straight out of high school to the pros and after 2017 became a los Angeles Laker, when his Cleveland contract expired.

People are going shit crazy over Zion.... There's zion right there... but this one is built like a brick shit house... lebron is 6'8 270 ... think zion is the same thing but zion is just burly built for all you NBA2K21 players out there. Everything zion is doing lebron already did. Kinda reminds you of jordan = kobe comparisons.

My Goat is LeBron Raymone James, yes he went from High School straight to the pros the most basketball ready prospect to ever step on the paint, he went to St.Vincent High School, he also played American football in high school and was so good he could have been drafted to play professionally.

95% of people who think LBJ is the goat are little kids or people who’s knowledge of the game stops at 2000. The greatest thing to happen to LBJ’s career is getting drafted to one of the weakest Eastern conferences in NBA History which is the only reason for his 8 straight Finals. If you think he goes to 8 finals in a row or 9 overall in the West, you’re straight trippen. I like LeBron but the fans piss me off cause it’s all recency bias. I’ve watched LBJ’s entire career up close and personal and I wasn’t even alive to see Jordan play but just from game footage alone I can easily tell Jordan was better. LBJ hasn’t even passed other all time greats to even be compared to MJ yet. 3-9 and 2 of his rings he helped form his team and mold his team to be a powerhouse to win just to get demolished by the old but great 2011 Mavs and have bad performances in multiple Finals series’

Putting the GOAT argument aside, what do you guys think of the hypothetical that Jordan would've been even greater in this age of NBA with its rules tamping down on physicality and Lebron greater in Jordan's era with its rough-house physicality. Just food for thought.

  • @zachbeach2797
    @zachbeach2797 4 ปีที่แล้ว

just to put it in perspective since they left a lot out, his first year on the Heat they lost to the Dallas Mavs, the Next year they beat OKC, and then another one next year beating the spurs, the 4th year on the heat they lost to the spurs in a rematch. then he goes back to Clev. loses to the Warriors (Mainly because his other two main guys broke his knee, and the other got his shoulder dislocated in the first series of the playoffs that year. 2nd year back in Clev (2016) the Warriors went 73-9 beating MJ's bulls record of 72-10. and they had the first come back down 1-3 to win 4-3.

As a player, i think lebron is better than jordan. But jordan had this competitive killer mentality that lebron doesn't have. At least not at jordan level.
But i also think that if lebron have players like Grant, pippen, rodman for 12-13 years, he would probably win at least 6 championships.
He had 4 years with wade and he won 2.
And I'm sorry for not considering irving and luv as a superstars. They didn't do shit without before lebron and don't do shit today after lebron.

Lebron is Kobe and magic in Karl Malone’s Body with unmatched basketball iq , the modern nba is just plain better, 80 points used to be a high scoring game in the 90s 😂😂 MJ is cooler And he had the shoes I guess that’s why people like him more but when it comes down pure 5v5 basketball , lebron is the greatest and best player of all time , he’s bigger, faster, stronger, smarter and more skilled, people forget Michael Jordan didn’t even make it to the conference finals his first six years until he got Scottie pippen and Phil Jackson, lebron wasted 7 years of his life in that waste land known as Cleveland , up until he had to go find his own help in Miami , lebron didn’t have the luxury of at least a comparable team , the argument for Jordan fans used to be the numbers, but now that lebron passed him up in every statistical category Jordan’s fan tryna switch it up

Is Lebron a better player than MJ? yes, does he have the accolades to prove it? no. if this season ends and he becomes the first person to win 3 ships with 3 different teams I think that puts him at least on par with MJ if not above him.
To perform like he has with the teams he has had against the teams hes played against is incredibly underrated. not to mention because of the hate hes been robbed of multiple awards. MVP's Defensive player of the year. he should've been the first unanimous MVP as well the 1 vote against him even came out afterwards stating he was the MVP but he voted for Melo out of spite. SPITE is what kept him from even more greatness ud never have that bs back in the 90's and prior. if a person with a vote said that back in the 90's they would've been beaten.

Lebron is the greatest ever. The only stat Jordan has over Lebron is Finals wins, but that’s a team accomplishment. In terms of stats that you can actually compare on a player to player basis, Lebron is better by a mile. A lot of people don’t like it, but it doesn’t change facts
