    Different experience for different people. I bought mine at 82k KM, now it’s at 114000. The only thing I’ve changed so far is the clutch set for 6800+1500 labour and auxiliary fuel pump for 4200 which I replaced myself. No issues with the infamous AC so far

    Thanks for this, planing to buy used rapid for 3 lakh and keep for 5 year but what if maintenance was 5 lakh for 5 year. Thanks for video you just save my lot of money now thinking about moving towards i10 nios but new. hahah

    • @JRSCars
      @JRSCars  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey man, yes. If the Rapid is like less than 3 years old with full records - then maybe worth a consideration
      Otherwise new is better, especially if you are buying your first car for family use
      I’ll even recommend a slightly used nios, if you want to perfect your skills with more confidence

    Hii JRS CARS!! I GOT SHOCKED😳 after seeing this video thumbnail..Recently, I saw many of them who owned skoda laura are selling it , this personally hurts me a lot . For the past 3 - 4 yrs i have been surfing about its details, upgrades, posts, used car market - Test drives (even though i couldnt afford at that time). Bt now, after all the researches and hardships, am luking for laura 2L CR tdi MT . Am saving money for years only to buy this vehicle. i know the cost of service and maintanance, but it worths every single penny. I dnt have any other choice list. Shall i proceed buying this ? Ur opinion pls ?
    Shall i replace all the parts at the initial and will it last longer for more time period ? Ipadiku laura vin vizhudhugal.

      Hi bro! Yes, i understand your love for the car bro.
      If you are ready for the service and maintenance, then yes, go for it.
      If mine was the 2.0 and automatic, i would have definitely held on to it for longer. But, at the time of purchase, the DSG (being unreliable when bought used) was the reason for going with an MT

    Sad to hear this one. But I do understand the pain of driving MT in cities with such big engine . I too have felt the same with my VW Jetta 2.0 MT. But I never want to sell it . planning for pre worshiped 1.3 MJT MT cars like punto or linea for city drives. and I am planning for a stage 1 tune for jetta as well . Pour your opinions please ! . I think I did read about your Laura in tbhp. I guess you should be Joshua right.? Man I’ve got two cars in mind. Either a 3rd Gen City V AT 2012 ran 37k asking 4 but can negotiate or a Laura 2010 L&K ran 150k. I want to trust Skoda but I’m afraid how it will plunder my wallet given the age and kms ran. Both are in One owner & in Chennai saw them at olx. Scouting for something in the 3-4L price bracket. I’m from trichy and I’m out of choices for a decent car. So trying all the options. Thought of buying an f10 530d but that was a far too stretch tbh. So reduced my budget to half. What’d you reckon having driven both of my choices. I thought of talking laura and give it a quantum’s tune, RCD40/50 & a steering swap with paddle shifters. But I’m scared at the same time 😅

    • @JRSCars
      @JRSCars  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey buddy, yes, that’s me 😃
      I suggest you stick with the Honda, it’s run less km and if the history and ownership checks out, go for it
      Check for flood damage too
      Also, a Skoda with 150k+ km would be a nightmare should things break (unless you owned and cared for it properly from new)

    Hi
    Just need a small suggestion from you
    Im having skoda laura 2007, 1.40L odo, im using from past 7 yrs
    Recently serviced , 70%tyres , new brakes
    I have a confusion should i keep the car or sell it for 1.7L
    Works to be done further
    Clutch set-(Clutch is very hard im using from 80k kms odo,so i think i need to replace)
    Ac unit - ( may be i should change Ac unit because Ac cuts and on in between driving not works effectively)
    Lights are not effective
    Front glass reflects too much driving night is hard
    No rust issues, good music system,
    Changed timing belt kit at 1,20km odo
    Kindly give a suggestion because im in confusion thankyou

    • @JRSCars
      @JRSCars  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi
      Clutch will be around 30k and AC will be another 35k approx
      The lights can be upgraded and windshield polished
      If the car is otherwise in great condition, you can consider keeping it…
      But some factors:
      FC has been done? Not sure how long gov will extend FC for old diesels?
      Do you have another car? If yes, then keeping the Laura makes sense as there cars are really built like tanks and will surely have value as a collector item in future
