Citroen xsara picasso brake light bulb replacement

Open the boot.
Look behind the brake light in the interior, you will see a section of boot lining about 5cm square that can fold open. Open this towards you.
You will see a square of foam, pull that out.
Now you can see the wires going into the back of the light, shine a torch downwards in here and you will see a shiny metal clip latches the light (red plastic) into the square metal hole of the car body. Using a screwdriver lever this clip up so it clears the bodywork.
This will release the bottom of the light. From outside the car pull the light cluster down and away from the vehicle to release the top clip. Disconnect the wiring plug from the lights to access the bulbs easier. Once the light is reassembled just push it back into the hole making sure the plugs are lined up with the holes in bodywork You should hear the clips click back into place..
