Also, I should have totally done the live battle on my mini account (stupid oversight) to demonstrate actually facing over-leveled cards. I will next time, but hopefully I was able to make the point pretty clear that it doesn’t matter what level cards you’re facing if they’re frozen ;) defend well, protect you pumps, and try to freeze at the best time! Do you have a smurf or F2P account to utilize for these kind of videos? Deck looks great, and you’re a fantastic content creator, but it didn’t really hit home how this would do against over-leveled players since you and Hercules have the deck maxed.
What’s up ash! Just wanted to say a quick thank you! I’m a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and I am also an Afghanistan veteran. I find it hard a lot of the time to let go of things that happened over in country and stop thinking about it all the time, but watching your videos really helps me out and takes my mind off of all that! Our clan leader has been playing a similar deck for over a year and regularly hits 4700 trophies with level 10 rares. Only difference is he uses witch and zap instead of megaminion and skeletons. It's a higher elixer deck but he makes it work. And yes he beats players with higher level cards regularly. I think you're right on point with your claim that you can beat better players and players with higher level cards

Its a one level difference, I would not call that beating overleveled cards personally, I think of it as 2+ levels to be overleveled
Joseph Narusis I totally agree with you. 1 level isnt a huge difference. I have to Play with 2 lvls higher cards and im still able to progress in ladder. I play logbait but i wouldn't recommend this tactic in ladder - too Many People run 2-3cheap spells because they play that brainless tactic ebarbs/RG plus cheap spells spam. /Im around 4400 trophies
overleveled for me is when an interaction between some cards is broken due to the level difference, like fireball one hitting a musketeer, sure its only 1 level different but thats not how a fireball should work, and neither does one hitting minions with zap, maybe its only 2 level different but zap shouldnt one hit minions, if its like a level 11 fireball hit a level 8 pump, it might be a big level gap but it is definitely not a game changer, sure it denies more elixir but its not as devastating as seeing ur three m dying to fireball
He has no max cards and for a long time his pump and witch were way lower than the rest. His tower has only recently been leveled to 12. Sorry didn't realize I had to be so specific when describing his underleveledness. However you want to define underleveled is ok with me. The point being...the deck will beat players with higher level cards and towers. 😁

Underleveled**
Yeah, facing foes (equal level) with my lvl 10 minion, which their zap one-shots, is super dissatisfying.
Bait decks are my specialty. A bait deck got me to 4k. It’s still about outsmarting the opponent.
Seems like a deck I could consider using! Very friendly to f2p players, with the only thing preventing me being needing to level up cards. I'll keep it in the back of my mind. Thanks ash

Everyday I come here watch your videos,I want to try those decks on ladder but I can't as I will never have those levels and as a f2p player with a real job I can't spend time in gc all day. If you play regularly in your f2p account,you will know the pain of liking a particular deck and knowing you can never play that deck in ladder. Level 7 or 8 golem is a dream for me, which might never happen if I request other cards,knowing that i played a game for over an year and not having a single rare max is painful😢 Hope we have better rewards, an account boost for 1000 gems a month giving more rewards would be cool.Thank you for your efforts☺️👍👌

I'm a spender, but not a huge spender. I really wish that it doesn't take 6 months to get a rare to max. Gold received from battle is pitifully low. This game is way too pay wall heavy. And it will take forever to get anywhere. I'm losing my interest everyday and its sad to put my favorite game away.

rn there are a ton of people with max wiz, valk, minions, zap, witch, both pekkas, golem, ebarbs, both giants, hog, gang, mega minion, loon, prince, mortar, even xbow. im constantly seeing mix of these decks. people just sit around at 4k when they should be above 4300, idk why. currently im unsure if even waiting towards end of season will work this meta.

Hey Ash, in response to your video yesterday, I have come up with this game mode idea.
Golden Challenge: A permanent game mode, played at Tournament Standard, where you can gamble gold in tiered challenges, and then gamble more gold to reap massive rewards.
Cost to Enter: The initial entry fee is 5,000 gold, to continue to higher challenges it will cost an additional 5,000 gold each time.
How it Works: In the challenge, you have 5 wins, and 2 losses. After 5 wins, you can bet more gold to increase your rewards even higher, up to 5 times (35 total wins), after 25 wins you can bet 30,000 gold to enter once more, but you only have 5 wins and a single loss, but if you lose you still get the 20 win chest, and no gold refund.
The Risk: The chest is an all or nothing, so if you lose twice there is a very small reward (after 5 wins you walk away with a gold chest from your arena), but winning 5 times increases the reward.
Rewards: The 5 win chest will have 100 cards. The 10 win chest will have 300 cards. The 15 win chest will have 700 cards. The 20 win chest will have 1,300 cards. The 25 win chest will have 1,900 cards. The 30 win chest will have 3,000 cards.

Hey Ash I really liked your ideas about fixing the CR economy! Personally wasn't a huge fan of the selling back cards thing but think the ads for challenges would be a HUGE success! Hope Supercell watches the video and implements a change like that soon. Would bring a lot of players back.

I found a pretty similar deck on TV Royale a few day ago and had huge success with it. It goes Zap-Rocket-freeze-Hog- mini pekka- minions, goblins and princess. So a bit of a hog alternative to this deck I guess
