Nick picks and smells the rosemary... just the best vibe and spirit. How many of us keep rosemary by the door to do just the same thing when passing? Lifes little pleasures.

This is one of the most stunning home/church I had ever seen. I really like the simplicity of the decor, furniture and all around renovations. Lucky new homeowner that will purchase this lovely home.

One of your best properties I’ve seen, I love the conversion from church to home and the simplicity of design. I guess this is one way to get high ceilings in 16th century old architecture.

Holy Crudola!!!!! Absolutely Beautiful!!!! That balcony would be PERFECT for stargazing. The kitchen is very tiny and yet skillfully updated. Plenty of cupboard space for utensils to create fabulous healthy meals. I love the artwork. Keep up the great work Nick!!!!

Amazing. And the view from the balcony is the SAME as when the church was built in the 1500s! No cities or roads or anything.

Spectacular home! The decor and artwork are not my taste at all, but still gorgeous for sure! I would make the living room (formerly the original church) a music room. Can you imagine the sound of a grand piano in there? The acoustics would be magical!

Unbelievable on the 16th-century refrigerator, hole in the understructure! Lovely restored church and the views are to die for. This place was exceptional! The artwork was appropriate for the interior of the home given it was a church. I can see myself living here!

Best views in my 8 months of watching. Definitely in your top 5 properties. Maybe higher after seeing the dungeon. Fantastic location in my opinion. I found Lago Trasimeno by mistake and could not believe my eyes viewing it from Gosparini. Lo Scoiattolo ! Cinghiale country for sure. Truffles too.

I love it all Nick, the church, the house, the artwork and the views. I can imagine a beautiful family Christmas in the church, the only thing I would add is a “hidden” kitchen with all the accoutrements in the church itself so no need to carry food and dinnerware etc up and down stairs or to be separated from your guests. I suppose that would be sacrilegious 😁 but it would be functional and discreet if designed well. I bet that pool is stunning 🤩

This is the most unique of all homes. Absolutely lovely. The kitchen has the perfect Farm sink all in such perfect condition and yet even though modern, it fits in with the decor of the home in such a way you would not dream it would work together.
It is a work of art really in many ways and done historically, within keeping with its natural surroundings.
I imagine a person would not feel good to give up a home like this and it has to be hard? But our life and its needs do change and we move along I guess? But this is so unique of a home cannot imagine leaving'
Have to say though it is best for someone able to climb stairs and hills well.

Nice. I remember driving through Umbria on the autostrata in 1997 going south to Rome. Seeing houses on hills and cliffs. Stunning views. The landscape and the vibe just suited me. I wish I could move to Umbria. My ancestors were from Rieti. If only I am rich enough to move there. I'd have my favorite Roman dish 'Fettucine con porchini' sauce again there. Sigh, memories.

I'll echo what others have said as well - this is a remarkable property in its setting, renovation done without a loss of charm and the amount of usable space. It really is a gem of an offering that appears to be turn-key and minimal ground maintenance requirements. That pool's location makes it an original 'infinity' style and would be inviting for anyone to take a dip with an Aperol spritz in hand.

The thing that would prevent me from buying a home converted from a church is the thought that there might be bodies buried everywhere both outside and also between the walls and under the floor boards! This is often the case with churches in England.I find that very creepy indeed.

You will NEVER know 😂! Do you know the history about the house you living in now?200 and more years ago?😅😅😅.allways remember the dead people will never hurt you BUT the people alive will and can 😢

    • @kaloarepo288
      @kaloarepo288 ปีที่แล้ว

I can't help it but I have a deeply ingrained phobia about anything connected with death -cemeteries ,crypts and all that type of thing -it even continues into my dreams! I don't know where it comes from -maybe from a religious education but I think there is a lot more to it -something far more mysterious and deep -I'm from the Asberger's side of the autism spectrum and I think this has a lot to do with it something that non Asperger's find very difficult to understand. It's not logic it's a profound awareness and feeling -related to the eternal and the transcendant and goes beyond specific religious beliefs. My widowed sister spends a lot of time mourning her husband who is buried in a cemetery crypt and I often say to her that I couldn't do it especially when the shades of night begin to descend and she invariably replies that she is far more concerned with the possibility of a living person with evil intentions hiding among the tombs than potential harm from the dead. Does that explain anything? As Shakespeare once said in "Hamlet" there are more things in heaven and earth than are explained in YOUR philosophy Horatio."

This is fantastic, those properties have character. Look at the doors, ceilings etc. Really wonderful. We have manufactured doors and flush white ceilings with recess lights with no charater at all. Mass produced junk. The price of 2.75 Mio. for the two properties in Umbria is amazingly cheap.
Living in greater Phoenix Arizona in a modern townhome and don't like the modern design at all. I love this Church converted to a home.
I hope the future owners will not take it for granted. Nick, thank you very much for presenting this property.

beautiful house! I would have planned it slightly different since for us the kitchen is very important. Its where people gravitate to and where we love to spend time creating, so for us we would need a bigger kitchen. Another lovely video. I really enjoyed this property. It has a lot of potential for sure and the view is one of the best of any property I’ve seen anywhere. The house does lack: air conditioning, a proper kitchen, and basically has zero fireplaces. Considering all that the asking price did seem a tad on the aggressive side. Especially since, given the number of levels, it probably requires a buyer on the younger side.

✨Nick … you simply blew my mind!
As you may remember, I am your friendly
    American, from Southern California (L.A.)
who loves standard size refrigerators, and
closets. If you remember, the16th century Farmhouse in Tuscany; closets galore, double building with breezeway looking to the West, for breathtaking sunsets. I have been working
like a mad dog with that property in mind.
Which is reasonably priced (worth every bloody
penny) for what it provides; peaceful solitude
in my opinion. As a writer that is priceless.
Nick … Oh My … you had me watching with my
mouth gaping open! What did you do to me …
that is spectacular. I didn’t think that ‘the
farmhouse’ could be surpassed; with my
‘funny’ likes, and dislikes, but you did it …

Just beautiful! Can i ask a property like this would pay how much a year in property taxes? The grounds and buildings are spectacular, thank you!😁

Hi Anne, Sorry for my late reply. I will need to check on this property, but property taxes in Italy are very low compared to other countries. Best wishes, Nick.
