5.14.23 today I visited the “Christ Cathedral” on Mothers Day!! This is my first time seeing video, Dr Rev Schuller his ministry the Cathedral’s incredible music ! I’m blown away! Awesome!!
THEN YOU SHOULD'VE WENT TO SEE THE GLORY OF CHRISTMAS PAGENT AT THE CRYASTAL CATHEDRAL FOR YOUR FATHER TRULY WOULD'VE LOVED THAT WAY MORE THAN WHAT THEY'RE ARE DOING NOW FOR THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD CAME TO SEE THE GLORY OF CHRISTMAS PAGENT WAY MORE THAN THIS STUFF THAT THEY'RE DOING NOW
@@cherylthrasher2296 I’ve been to the Glory of Christmas as well as the Christmas Eve service and I can’t say one was better than the other. Personally they were both very beautiful but the Glory of Christmas was a longer service that was more detailed. I actually was invited to go with my family as a kid, by Heather Whitestone. That definitely was a real treat. Though I think the Glory of Easter was even better. They did an amazing job.
Awe, I loved going to the Crystal Cathedral Christmas Eve service every year as a kid. I used to collect the flashlights year after year. I remember the year they stopped having flashlights and I was so sad. Even though I was 17 or 18 at the time. It was tradition.🤪But seriously it was always a blessing to be able to celebrate Jesus’ birthday here in the most beautiful place. Some of my favorite family traditions for sure.
Don't we all miss those magnificent pageants? Unfortunately the sets, the costumes , and the venue in it's old configuration are no longer in existence so it's a wonderful MEMORY of the past now. The Video is on TH-cam however so you can relive the show.
You wont get any of it now.... The Ministry bankrupt and closed its doors.. the crystal cathedral church was sold off to the catholic diocese. There is no way in hell they would do anything like the Glory of Christmas was.
Lost $2 million on the show. The reason church bk is because the riff in the family and the daughter ovrr tke throne and ran into ground. The Robert S. The third just like The Bible story Esau and Jacob. I waz thr last 10yr, i went to pray at Christ Hall Prayer Temple with the hand of Christ crystal turning... it was magnificent but when i open my eyes closely, someone cut off the finger of the Christ. In the statue.
@@fliu5282the daughter was a disaster. But she took over after the money was drying up (and the increasing expenses of this pageant was one more log on the fire) She pushed it over the cliff but it was already teetering on the cliff when she took over.

I haven't seen this in a long time. It was good to show my kids my parents and myself singing together. Makes me miss my dad. Thank you.

BRING BACK THE GLORY OF CHRISTMAS PAGENT FOR THAT PERFORMANCE IS THE TRUE AND ONLY GLORY OF CHRISTMAS NOT THIS OTHER STUFF
