I was living in Maine, living with my grandparents, Grandmother was sick and unable to go to church. This was the day l first met Bro Schuller on TV. From then on as l went into the Air Force we follow this wonderful program to give us courage serving through the Vietnam War and through the years. Praise the Lord after 10 years we found your ministry.
I would be at home on weekends watching TV in the morning in the 80's. WUAB 43 would advertise Robert Schuller and his house of power. I remember him exclaiming, "Don't just sit there! Do something!" It really captivated me, and stuck with me all these years. It wasn't until I read his Wikipedia page years later that I found out so much about him.
The broadcast master tapes may not be playable after so many years. Videotapes degrade in quality over time and the master tapes would have to be playable in order to be converted for a TH-cam upload. Some older tapes may be lost to time due to being “eaten” by the VCR. That said, the official _Hour of Power_ TH-cam uploaded the very first episode years ago.
RIP Dr. Schuller. I had the joy and privilege of playing the piano for Tom Tipton on the Hour Of Power for over 30 years. Your message of hope still touches millions and now, through your grandson Bobby the message of the Gospel is still brought forth. I thank God for your life and ministry.
