Another awesome video guys. As always I wish I was there. I never get tired of watching the underdog rigs hitting the trails. I hope the KL has a cheap and easy repair ahead of it.

Tundras are great trucks but I think they're too big. I've always found that the smaller vehicles are better. My renegade trailhawk and TJ made it up a lot easier than any of these vehicles did. Approach, break over, and departure angles are very important.

The other thing is, my wife's compass Trailhawk had an issue where the rear went out like that and it was just that some wires that were corroded . When that got fixed , zero issues.
I've never seen anything like that with mine. It's usually an insane amount of grip and very difficult to produce any slipping whatsoever. I'm on Cooper 265 65 17 . AT3 4s. Ridiculous grip... 4 low and rear locked ... Almost never slips .. just goes...
2 inch Teraflex lift... That's it. Just tires , lift and sliders. Nothing special. Climbs almost anything.
I run 27 psi , basically all the time. Street and trail. If you do the tire pressure conversion for larger tires you'll land on 29 psi to hold the same load as 36 in the old ones. I just go down 2 from that. I set mine to 27 using the Wrangler as a reference vehicle. If you go from it's LT tires to my metric 265s and support the same weight, you'll come up with 27 psi (even though it's LT tires are 37 psi- LT tires need more air - I know , it's counter intuitive). If I go on a long trip I'll put it to 32 . 36 is insane. Don't do that with upgraded tires . Way too stiff.
For something like these rocks i'd run 22 psi. I could explain why... Lotta boring research... 22 is the number though.
If I were there with my Cherokee this would be my setup for that obstacle (where he was stuck).
    22 psi
    Rear locked
    4 Low
    Rock mode
And probably throw it in 1st manual shift to prevent upshift.
