    1. This series aims to bring ISL into the public sphere.
    2. I am not a professional, and I aim to share with you the basics of ISL as used in Delhi.
    3. I would be posting a new video each week.
    4. This series is for people who can hear.
    5. Medium of instruction will be English. Anyone with a basic understanding of English can gain from this.
    6. If you enjoy this series, I would really encourage you to do a proper course in ISL.
    7. It is truly a lot of fun to learn ISL and I promise you are investing your time and energy at the right place.

I also started learning this language after I watched Twinkling Watermelon. This drama really is a good one and inspired a lot to learn the language. I can see in the comment section itself that there are many people here who came here after watching the Twinkling Watermelon. It is one of the best dramas out there; really!

I didn't understand why did he say it until today after watching this series. He wanted to be included. Take part in active discussions. And so, from now on Ill learn sign language for him, communicate much deeper with him, understand his emotions and possibly make others learn sign language as well. Thank you Pragya for this.

People learn languages because of few things , getting jobs or to be better in society . But this language is kinda cute ❣️ . Just want to learn it to show some care . Hey, I love this course. What if the person I'm signing to does not know English? Should I learn a sign language with Hindi dominant words?

Thank you for your appreciation. I am glad I could introduce you to ISL.
If you want to learn Indian Sign Language properly I would suggest that you do a certification course from a place that hires a deaf teacher. There are many such institutions, ISLRTC, Noida Deaf Society, NIHH etc. (I am not associated with any of these, I am not an expert.)
      Happy learning. :)

Yes, I would advise that you learn the language using Hindi as a medium.
Although, the signs which don't use English letters would be the same.

That's great. I hope my videos help you get an idea of what ISL looks like.
I'd suggest that you do a proper course in ISL. There are many organisations like ISLRTC and Noida Deaf Society who offer courses.
