I'll go with PolarPro Basecamp myself, although pricy, but those filters are fast to snap in and also the VND seems to not have those problems you get with circular, screw-in lens types so that's a plus. Also you can fine-tune those VND's especially for outdoors filmmaking like nature or other stuff. Would enjoy more of those builds or tips as I'm just starting to take my filmmaking more seriously.
Very nice rig set up. I use a smallrig cage for my z6ii. Also use a smallrig battery plate with an Indipro battery. However, the rest of the rig is your design and I find it very functional.

Great top handle choice, love those beefy Nitze's. Also appreciate rigging the side handle on the left. For DSLR/mirrorless shaped bodies, I never understand how people mount a right side top handle that just gets in the way of accessing setting buttons which are on the camera grip.
Indeed. I never understood why many put handles on the right side of these styles of cameras. Although I'm looking to mount the follow focus wheel on that side

Hey bro doesn’t the nitze stinger handle already have a QR nato clamp on it and the Tilta full cage has the built in top nato rail on it ? So wouldn’t that just slide in ? Just wondering how to make it work
A mic right next to the Ninja which constantly makes a fan noise? That will never work no matter how good the mic is. Also, say good bye to the awesome OLED EVF in this setup!
@@MalcolmEugene Yeah, I don't think there's a "one rig fits all" thing. Personally, powering the Ninja from that V-mount would be my first change AND forgetting about that shotgun. If you think of it, the EVF and ability to use it in video mode is one of the biggest advantages a mirrorless camera has over a DSLR.
@@deepseadiver8191 I've also never used my EVF since the day I bought it. It's been on manual>Monitor since day one. The EVF looks very nice but I just can't imagine a scenario as a camera op where it's placement will work in a shooting scenario. Only time it ever gets turned on for me is taking phtotos. If they took the same viewfinder and put it as a removable accessory to mount wherever you want on a cam like the FX6 then we'd be talking
@@perthlongboardingsociety321 Well. We can only dream about this EVF being a detachable, fully articulating accessory. I’ve shot few things with A7sIII and before with A7III using the EVF. It works great for me this way, but of course not for things like a 2 hour sit down interview. Personally I find it hard to hold the camera at eye level steady unless you use the EVF. Not to mention EVF eliminating the sun issue. EVF creates a completely different level of intimacy when shooting close ups and even medium and wider shots. Allows me to really immerse in what I’m filming. It’s a personal thing.
I get the feeling this thing is more form than function. Why would anyone wrap their gear like that? Those rails are also completely useless. Caleb’s rig is far more practical.
