I bought this cage for sony a7iii you think it will be a problem?
@Chris Brockhurst if someone still wants to use a camera strap is there an alternative place or do you suggest an alternative place to attach the strap bracket that was removed and replaced with the side screw..?

Great set up. I normally use my Smallrig articulating arm for my monitor on the smallrig cage and for my zhiyun gimbal. Works wonders on a gimbal, especially in tricky shots you can move that bad boy any way you like.

Gotta say small rig have started to improve their aesthetic for their cages tenfold, what I would really appreciate out of modern cages tho is arca swiss/501 quick releases like Kondor does and small rig used to do on their half cages, as well as nato rail on top since nearly every top handle these days has a nato clamp variant and nearly everyone who owns a cage or has started rigging their cage out has a top handle

Great look at the Smallrig stuff. This is a nice setup for shooting when you need it. Like you, don’t always use a cage (on my a7iii), but it’s nice to have when I do need it.
