Thanks for demonstrating a detailed method of replacing headlight bulb/s on a BMW 328i with a awesome video.Saved me a lot of money.
Awesome spot on video. Thank you for the detailed instructions and high quality video even showing how the retainer clips are latched. After viewing your video I was able to do it from the top side mostly by feel. Although I couldn't see what I was doing, I was able to visualize it in my head based on your video and did both sides of the low beam bulbs by feel. Thanks again.
I have seen two of his videos, one on replacing the window regulator and this video. He is passionate about what he does. Thank you 👍
Awesome video guide for this repair! Thanks
Such great camera work! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
good video of replacement head bulb and high beam bulb .
I wish I had this guy as a life mentor the way he simplifies things 💀
Thanks for the detailed instructions! I followed them to the letter. Couldn't ask for better.
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
Awesome video man thanks 🙏🏼
You are mush better than everyone else,to show every step.very helpful.
That's so nice of you! Thanks for watching!
Hi Excellent video. I am looking to change the Daytime running Lamps (Angel Eye). Is that located below the headlights? The second one you replaced? Thanks
you made this really easy man, thanks for the tut
Glad to hear that!
Thank you your video still helping people
Glad to hear it!
Great tutorial video! Thanks
You're welcome!
Thank you so much! Going to attempt this tomorrow, but the link for the bulbs is no longer available so I'll just be picking up a H7 55watt bulb. I'm pretty sure that's the right one.
Great, detailed video!
Thank you!
Exelelt video thank you so much you save me a lot of money
Love to hear it! Thanks for watching!
Thank you Very Helpful!
Great video, but high beams were actually easier from above. I agree to do low beams from the tire panel.
Good tip! Thanks for watching!
if you're taking out the fender liner note that theres at least 3-4 more bolts underneath on the bumper that you need to take off for the fender to come out. i cracked my bumper by pulling too hard on the fender liner thinking i had all the bolts off. real pain in the ass
great video
Thanks!
It works for 2011 BMW 328i. Thank you sir!
Good to know! Thanks for watching!
loved this so much effort 10/10\
Glad you liked it!! Thanks for watching!
What is the part # for the turn signal cap/socket? The thing with the metal tangs on the side.
Hey on the first bulb you remove, there was another component that looks like it
What is that?! I need to swap it out for a headlight assembly I bought
Thank you for the video!
You-re rock!✔✔🚘🚘
This might seem like a dumb question, but is it the same for the 2011 BMW 5 series?
Thanks for the video 👍🏼 but I was wondering, what’s going on with the halo light (angel eye) light bulb replacement?
If you have Valeo, unscrew and unbend stamp metal sheet thing that holds little glas in front of a bulb and simply push a bulb in and twist, get a new one there with same metod and put everything back together.
btw 2016 328i do you buy fixture of bulb for running day time light
Thank you Soo much
You're welcome!
Which one is the daytime running light?
Hello sir can you please tell me I want to change my headlight lamp but I don’t know which one is BMW 318i model 2011 is h7 or h8
I have a 2011 328i convertible and my lights are not like that at all I have been looking for weeks to find a video on replacement of angel eyes cuz I can even find the damn bumbs
2011 Park light right hand side park light how do you replace it 🤔
Great video ,
My 2010 bmw 328i does not have access through the wheel well.
Any ideas on how I’m suppose to change my bulbs ?
Taking the front bumper off so u can take the headlights off
Wish mines had that little access panel. It’s a solid fender liner
Same year?
@@2carprose92 has solid fender liner
My 328i xDrive has a daylight running headlight (in addition to the halo lights). Any idea how to change that bulb? (inner most headlight) thank you!
Did you figure it out? I Have the same question
Where is halo bulb located?
the link to the parts are no longer available, are there updated links I can use?
If I was taking my wheels off on a 2011 3 series 18inch rims what would i torque them back to?
also just do the high beams from the top and take the airbox out
How do you do the fog light?
Haynes manual states that the main (high) beam bulb covers can be accessed from above via the engine bay .
I couldn't. Thanks for watching!
Are there LED replacement bulbs for the H7 headlight?
Yeah probably. I just have to recommend the stock ones. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2007 328xi. It does not have a access panel. So I am assuming they take out the inner fender liner. No one on TH-cam has addressed what to do with no access panel
Yeah take it out like I did. Thanks for watching!
@@2carpros can you remove the fender cover without removing the wheel?
Would all this be the same for a 2012 BMW 328i coupe?
I assume so. Thanks for watching!
How do you change the parking lights?
Mines don’t have the under panel by the wheel , I have a 2009 bmw 328i xdrive
Take the fender liner out just like he did in the video🤙🏾
I think my 328i has the same config looks like. The bdi scanner says I have a a bad left high beam and a bad left daytime bulb. I found a burnt high beam but I can’t seem to find any other burnt one. I’m having a hard time to locate the daytime bulb.
They might be the same bulb with two filaments in them. So one bad bulb and 2 bad codes. Thanks for watching!
@@2carpros that’s it, 1 bulb 2 codes
This video doesn't mention the parking light. How are those removed?
The same way.
It’s the same for 325i 2011?
Yeah should be. Thanks for watching!
Well, can you actually replace the high beam through the access panel? Looks like there is not enough room for that.
People have told me they can but the way I did it seems better. Thanks for watching!
Just an fyi. E92 you have to take off the fender liner
It's not a bad idea to do anyways. Thanks for watching!

hiii plzzz help a 22 yr old girl out 🥺 how different is this from a 2008 328xi ? i have xenon headlight bulbs… do i seriously have to take the bumper off ??? mf $100 lightbulbs i do not wanna fuck up 😭 car shop quoted me $473 for JUST the labor like NO. i’m already taking tire n fender liner off to replace windshield wiper fluid pump, it would be so so convenient if i could just replace my headlight bulbs while i was there. that bumper would suck n ik it 😢
How do I get the sensor out?
Super easy my ass--the headlight replacement is difficult as hell and the engineering makes no sense. Why the hell should you even have to access the panel by going underneath with the tire in the way? But thanks for at least showing this...still helped a lot
That's BMW is general. A little more difficult than needs be. Thanks for watching!
my 2008 335i headlamp assembly looks nothing llike this
Go to the hill BMW bad bad
Could’ve cut the turn signal part out, bmw drivers don’t use those anyways
Haha but I want the option to be there for them. Thanks for watching!
Impossible to access high beam from under without removing the inner fender....PERIOD
Yeah Its impossible depending on what trim you have. When I had mine I had to open the hood and take off the bumper… some are just right under the wheel with the low beams
This is why I'll never own a German car, they over engineer and over think EVERYTHING! What a bloody mess.
I don't blame you! These things can be a pain! But we always get it done! Thanks for watching!
I mean it’s annoying but not really that hard tbh, I swapped my headlights from the trash 06 halogens to the 09 halogens u see in this video, but instead of using halogen blubs I retrofitted LEDs and HID lights. Then I had to code the bulb monitoring system out of the car to prevent flickering. Again annoying but not hard at all. Just gotta go the extra mile and everything will go smoothly and work for years to come. They’re actually designed pretty decent and I think n52 cars aren’t the worst to work on.
@@I_Ali_I compared to my 04 Avalanche its like landing on the moon. Chevy had the perfect style of headlight that could be changed in seconds. Like I said….Germans over think and over engineer everything.
🤣🤣🤣
The difference: a Chevy car will be ready for scrap in 6 years; a 10y/o BMW often is like brand new.
Yes, my family has owned many over the years.
This however does not apply to Chevy/GMC trucks. If they built their cars like they built their trucks they’d still be #1 worldwide in cars.
I replace one on my bmw,,but i didn't put back the cover,,that's a pain in the ass!!!
