Man! I find myself looking forward to these videos because as I've noticed, your guests feels safe to open up and you two are a great team. My only slight constructive criticism is, please open your show with an introduction or small background story to set the topic up. Always approach this show as if you gained a new audience and they aren't aware of the background story that you're about to discuss. Continued success to you both.

I don’t usually comment, however this is an insightful conversation that is necessary! “Listen to understand is the word”. Thank you! Sadly many personalities listen to criticize and to judge, rather than to understand and to extend compassion. It is based in their own experiences. “Trauma in a person decontextualized overtime, looks like personality. Trauma in a family decontextualized overtime, looks like family traits. Trauma in a people decontextualized overtime, looks like culture.”

Words are powerful. Whether you write or speak them, they do have an impact on you and the others. They express feelings and share knowledge. They can change someone's mood completely and ignite a spark in them. Words also have the ability to hurt, to heal, to hinder, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble. It's very important to be intentional in how we communicate. The right words make all the difference.

Some of them are so bitter and set in there ways that nothing you do under the sun will make them happy or respect you. You lived your life as an Athlete, you have your story yo tell and as we all know the truth hurt as hell most times so not everyone is going to be happy. Don't allow anyone to keep you silent especially the media, there are so much going on in Jamaica that the media refused to report but they are ready to jump on your platform to report story they fixed to suit their narrative. It's a shame and as a Jamaican not living there anymore, looking from the outside in I understand it's not very easy. Social media is another place that try to recked mental health but be reminded that if you put yourself out there to tell your story you have to put on the Armour of God to fight the devil, he is like a roaring lion seeking who he can devour and he is in full control of social media. Let’s be honest, we Jamaicans are rough by nature. Let’s respect our athletes. Nobody would like to have someone disrespecting you all the time for what you love. Yes, it comes with the territory but where is the compassion! They are humans.

At the end of the day everyone's experience is their truth and no one can take that away from them. Jamaican's home and aboard do use the general phrase " Jamaican people". Asafa the reason other's are having issues with what was discussed is they know what you are saying is truth, bad behaviors being exposed. You, finally speaking up on what you have held in for years has nothing to do with you not being humble. Sometimes "Jamaican people" need to look in the mirror ( using the same phrase). Jamaica can be a very ungrateful place, but one thing I will say if people are determined to misunderstand you there is nothing you can do to change their preconceptions. There is also nothing wrong with a person wanting you to respect your personal space, that's basic human decency. That said, most athletes are accommodating when you approach them like a human. You are a Legend and the majority of us are grateful for your contribution to this country......and for me you guys are not regular people. You have represented Jamaica at the highest stage.
