I cooked this tonight. It was bomb. Seriously, make this for dinner or lunch. It’s fast, easy and super filling. I got a baguette for lunch with a rotisserie chicken and used the leftover meat in the soup along with the bread to dip. 10/10 I will be making this again. I will be trying a few changes and additions as well. This is a wonderful recipe. Thank you!
Edit. Yes it is raining tonight. It was a wonderful soup to have in the belly for a nighttime walk in the rain.

Will this work w sweet potatoes, Dani? Also, NEVER waste a baked or toss a rotisserrie chicken carcass or turkey. ALWAYS MAKE BONE BROTH. A simple roaster on the counter for 24-48 hrs will do. Free, delicious and most healthy. Freeze, can or dehydrate for dry bone broth granules. Its not at all difficult.

This exceeded my expectations. I used more spices in mine, including smoked paprika, and also added dried dill weed, one Bay leaf, and some turmeric/black pepper paste at the end. These combined with the spices you already had in it, was incredible! I threw in a heaping spoonful of plain yogurt too. It went amazing with some leftover farmers sausage. Thank you so much for this recipe. It's going to become a regular staple for me.

You must still be winging this TH-cam thing. Is this video checking off the Saint Patrick's Day Irish recipe? If so you're 2 weeks early, even though I've noticed other TH-camrs trying to pull a fast one like this. Last year you had a pancake recipe and the year before that you had a how not to overeat video. Both of which were not Irish related. You know the rules. You should have batch record 30 videos, one each for the following year so you don't have to think about it as all evergreen content is made 😎

Dear Cook: (1) The GREATEST nutrients are in the outer leaves and peels of vegetables, so NEVER cast them aside because they are limp or bruised.Clean them carefully and toss them into the pot, where cooking will make them look and taste delicious.(2) NEVER throw the core of anything away--eat the core of cabbage: It's a delicious, portable snack for older children and adults.(3) If you say that cabbage is a "healthy" vegetable, you are telling your audience that said cabbage faithfully works out at the gym with her pals, "healthy" potatoes and "healthy" onions. The grammatically correct word is "HEALTHFUL", which means that said cabbage, potato and onion is brimming with HEALTH-GIVING NUTRIENTS that will benefit us all. Thanks for listening. I'm going to make your lovely, HEALTHFUL soup today, a rainy Sunday!
