Hi Chi Keng. I'd also include a bit of fruit and vegetables (investing for the long run; health is our biggest asset and compounding also requires a long life to bear its best fruits; ask Buffett and Munger).

Need to snack on more nuts and legumes, and like the other guy said to include more vegetables and fruits, healthy protein and carbohydrates in your diet, now you dont see it but if you go take a test for your health metrics , you might see an issue. its value for money if its healthy, personally i spent 1500 for family of 3 so about $500 per pax per month

I gave myself only $300 spending money a month donkey years ago as a young working adult.
With inflation over the years, if you can do with $600 a month now, you are more than OK 💯🥇.
Not pulling your leg or trying to make you feel anything. I blogged about this before. So, just telling the truth. 👌

@@taychikeng Don’t get me wrong, I just mean u are high compared to those ‘frugal’ finfluencer like Kelvin when he just started out. Yours is healthy spending, in fact can spend abit more.
I used to have clients who earn and save and by the time they are in 60s, they dunno how to spend $ already. Kinda sad like u feel there’s nothing to spend $ on, like came to this world just to carry out a task.

@@taychikengyeah on the low side considering there's dates involved. A movie + dinner wkend can easily burn 100+ in a single day

@@taychikeng btw just some feedback. I been watching ur vids but didn’t subscribe until now. I guess a huge part is bcuz I hardly see u replying in comments section. There was a period of time tat comments was turned off too. I understand tat online world can be very toxic but end of the day personal touch still matters to whether I subscribe to a particular channel.
Example Kelvin with tat much more comments I noticed he still make a point to reply some. CG oso had lots of haters but his followers are very loyal at the same time bcuz he does respond to the frenly msg.
Btw I initially follow ur vids bcuz I wan to know how does a finance educated guy will approach investing. I think there’s things to learn from everyone, oso bcuz I didn’t have formal finance education. Been contemplating whether to go back to studies and getting a finance related degree.
Lastly if u ever consider doing 1-1 finance ‘tutoring’ lemme know.
