Hi, great sharing. How do we determine our savings rate, in relation to calculating the years to financial independence? I.e. what do we mean when we have a savings rate of 50%?

Example, if you earn a yearly income of 100k, if you manage to save 50k - and generate a return on that 50k (based on the table) - that's how you determine that your savings is 50%.
