Best guide out there!! I went from being totally overwhelmed and dying/tabbing on 1st or second kill to comfortably managing 4 kill trips with multiple "perfect kills" (avoiding all unnecessary damage) in 120 kills with just this guide. Pay close attention to all the little details he shares, as you learn the boss the tips and strategies he shares will lock in and you'll become much more comfortable. A few things that I would add for grinding the boss now that I'm comfortable/good: 1. When axes spawn opposite your character in the arena, don't dodge until they start moving (really until they get half way across), you have plenty of time, and the spikes attack/head often spawn right after the axes do. By waiting for a bit you reduce your chances of needing to panic click to avoid multiple mechanics at the same time. (eventually you'll get it down, but it will save you frustrating deaths in the beginning) 2. keep your sound on, and your mouse centered on the screen, ready to move. As long as the game isn't lagging, the audio and visual ques for the head give you plenty of time to tab to your prayers and move your mouse to switch to prot range, if you hover over the inventory waiting for the head, other mechanics will do loads more damage to you 3. when you can afford too, eat/pot up during/after the boss does the entangle, the other mechanics pause during this attack, and it won't interrupt your rhythm. (do try to remain above 60 health though, and bring combo eats) 4. Bring thralls once you're comfortable. it makes the time to kill so much more consistent 5. Relax, there's a lot going on, but you RARELY need to do more than 2 things in rapid succession, learning what these clicks are, and the priority of one vs the other is how you get good (head ALWAYS first, dodging and re-clicking the boss comes with practice, work on this early on in the fight, and keep working towards enrage phase) Happy hunting, and thank you Kingston for the helpful and simple guide! Looking forward to my $$ uniques
Id love to see more boss tutorials in the future, your way of explaining the mechanics in a simple and concise manner helps a lot of people. Thanks again for the great content
This is hands down the best Vardorvis guide around. Watched plenty of others and was still having issues. Watched your video and I got my 1st kill a few minutes later. Thank you for the simple explanations. Very much appreciated! :)
Great guide! I died a handful of times starting off, but it was easy once I got familiar with everything. Keep your prayer high and eat when there's downtime and you won't get overwhelmed.
2:40 ABSOLUTELLY RIGHT!!!! I was ignoring this and dying like crazy, but as soon as I started switching the payers and tanking the axes I got it first try! I didn't even move for a bunch of the axes hits and still got it.
I was really struggling with this fight and your video broke it down so damn well dude I cannot thank you enough! Best video of this fight on youtube by a landslide!
Died the first time going without looking up a guide, thought "this is BS." Found your guide first, beat it first try after that. Thanks man! Best guide out there (I'm guessing)
Killed quest version first try after watching this. Ran out of food and prayer but stayed calm at the end and finished him with 20 hp and 0 prayer points left.
@@KINGSTON45OSRS i had a task of killing it 50 times, never did it before. I died 4 times, till get everything together now i'm pushing myself to do 2-3 kills a trip. What i can say that may help to improve is: bring combo food shark+karams saved me a couple times ngl. But the most important aspect of the fight you covered very well, PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE ROOM > dps. That is the key of the fight.
thank you so much for this video, I died over a dozen times trying other strategies, but I took your advice and took it slow making sure to always get the range pray before anything else and was able to kill him. Your highlights also really helped.
Dude. Thank you. I’m combat 124 new to P2P, and your simple format helped me. I wasn’t focusing on the prayer disabling like I should’ve been. That’s what helped me prevent death #6 and advance the quest. Thanks for making a simple noob guide🤙🏼
Was stumbling like crazy on my first few attempts of this, watched this video once and killed him with plenty of supplies remaining. Great explanations and tips, thanks!
I quit the game many months ago because of this boss, it’s for my quest cape! I’m going to give it a shot after this guide, thank you! I think this will work wonders.
I did Vardorvis yesterday Got 7 “messy” kills But 23 deaths .. within the entire trip. Watched this vid as a quick recap.. Cleanest quickest kill I’ve done so far. Great video
I've watched your guide a couple of times over now, Its honestly fantastic. You break it down great, went over the mechanics without jumping around too much. You've earned my sub sir!
People acted like axe skipping is something to learn. In reality you just click on the side tile right before the axe hits you lol. So in short just try out a bit, good guide :)
I struggled first 4 times against enraged phase because his head special was a machine gun. I was tanking the axes to click the range pray like every 2 seconds. Seems like it never stopped doing that. Had to teleport out each time. 5th time watched this video and I guess vordy went easy on me cause I only had to protect against it twice under 100 HP on him. Speced him out with abyssal dagger and that was that.
It's a near perfect guide, the only things i think you're missing is 2 things, 1 is combo food. Makes it a lot easier, and 2 is how to deal with triple axes when all 3 are coming from the opposite side in a straight line at you.
Best vid I have seen yet for any boss I've struggled with. In all 170 quests, this was the most S-tier. Subbed.
Wow, thanks!

Best guide out there, I just need this for the quest but up until now ignoring the ranged one because it's hard. Gonna try again tonight.

Awsome guide. 👌
Thanks 😊
you've inspired me to finally tackle DT2! :o :)
You’ve got it, easy!
Quality guide
Thanks a lot 😊
yo what's the outro song
nvm just found it by looking the lyrics up, jesus christ flashbacks from high school
Meanwhile I’m hitting constant 0’s with 85 attack. Only good to kill him with 99 attack apparently
Sadly the way the boss works he’s very tanky at the start, you could maybe try a bone dagger to see if you get lucky with a hit.
@@KINGSTON45OSRS I was using bgs hitting 0’s. Tried about 30’times and gave up on the bgs lol
How dare you end the clip before we see the drop
😂 was nothing good
"beginners guide" but you use the ring to get there? Kinda need kc to get the tablet to use the ring tele
I did say I wasn’t going to show you how to get there 😊

I agree, was doing my best to not information overload people but that would improve it 😊
