Agreed, language exchanges are good for meeting people. Although sometimes the ones that include drinking can be a little annoying as it seems that some people treat it as a dating / hook of situation so yea just wanted to add that.

Yes, that's a bit of a problem for me. I am already living here for almost one year and I couldn't find friends here. Yes, i know a lot of acquaintances and people to hang out but it's not about friendship or close deep conversations. Most people here are about parties, drinking, dancing, meeting many new people all the time. It's very difficult to meet someone like me. Superficial connections start being tedious at some point. Of course, there are people that I feel interest about and it feels like we click but later they start ignoring me when I offer them to meet outside of those networking events. It's very frustrating - probably Malaga is just not for me
