Seeing the lights brings back so many memories! I saw my favorites and some new ones. Haven't been up there for about 10 years. You guys should've came down to New Martinsville and tried Quinet's buffet. You have to have their baked steak!

It is empty because no one has 30.00 extra at christmas. If they charged $5.00 each, it would be packed and they would make a fortune and be boessed for spreading Christmas joy. We have a festival of kights at Griffith park..FREE, and the kine is so long you have to wait 20 minutes just to enter. Thank you for sharing this video. It is beautiful, too bad no one can afford to take their kids. Merry Christmas.

That sure is I lovely light display, I love it. It is absolutely fantastic. Best one that I have seen in a long time. The one in St Augustine they cut down on where they went to and went up on the price. So I just drive myself around instead.

You wouldn't want to live in Wheeling. Believe me. I worked in Wheeling for many years. I would never move there. The Lights are nice but Oglebay never does anything FREE for the Community. It's a $30.00 Donation that they make sure they Charge you. Even for Trick or Treat Boo at the Zoo it's a ridiculous Price. Plus they got rid of their Train everyone loved and they threw one of the Best Model Railroads for miles around away into a Dumpster. Wheeling is full of Panhandlers, Prostitutes, Break-In Robberies, Shootings, Low Income Housing and run down houses and buildings and a bunch of drug abusers. There's only a few decent neighborhoods there.
@@tomsimpson5317 no its not. The City Officials have done a terrible job over the Years. I used to work for a daily delivery service all over Wheeling. I remember about 20 years ago how nice the Island was. Slum Lord's like Coyne have bought up all the houses and charge high rent and never fix them. I remember 1 of his Apartment Buildings had 7 Sex Offenders in it renting off of him. One Street I counted 16 Pit Bulls on it. Because of things like this most of the decent people have moved away. It's a Shame the City Officials have not brought new businesses to the downtown area. Some places in Wheeling are not safe at all. Like I said there are still a couple of decent neighborhoods to live in still. Mainly from Wheeling Jesuit College up through Elm Grove.

Nothing like Christmas to bring out memories. Lived in East Liverpool my teen years. Visited wheeling and Steubenville and lot of those different cities in that area especially during football season. Really enjoyed your videos of that area. Great job keep up the good work.
