What a terrible start to a video. If you wanted to provide good tips to beginners, then you shouldn't have been so damn biased.
Its 2020 and Borderlands is on almost every system now.

More early game farms. Knuckledragger at the beginning drops the Hornet, a legendary corrosive pistol. Boom and Bewm are good for the Bonus Package grenade mod, there's also a red loot chest under the elevator. Midgemong drops the Kerblaster assault rifle though that might be a tougher one to get.

Savage Lee drops Unkempt Harold and easily farmable for double penetrating variant which will get you through just about the entire first playthrough
Definitely begin with Maya. Once you have her to Level 50 you can play with two controllers and grind level the other characters up to Level 50 in no time (relatively speaking) before progressing up to Level 80 with much better gear. I began as Zer0 and my son as Salvador - we struggled until my wife came in as Maya. Now that Salvador is at Level 80 he is ridiculously overpowered, but my son dying regularly as Salvador and me as Zer0 (up to Level 50) almost had us wishing to start all over as Maya.
As for Zer0, he will always be a glass cannon at every level but will force the player to use his or her brain in order to progress as a solo player - yet he compliments the other two characters I mentioned when playing multiplayer. Indeed, there are times when he is an absolute must with his Critical Ascension and Bore skills, as well as being able to get into strategic positions on the map through Deception that others cannot.

To kill flint really easily:
Run all the way to the front left corner or the "boss room", jump to the platform bellow, you should land on a platform with a bunch of lootboxes, go back again to the ammo seller, use a sniper rifle to make Flint chase you, just wait on the platform you are for him to get to you.
You can shoot him all day from that place, he wont be able to kill you, since all of his attacks will be almost useless.

I completely ignored the first tip on choosing maya and picked krieg instead😂. . .i basically got rekt'd and slammed by everything, and i was about to give up on krieg but i gave him another chance and kept on playing him until i reach end game on normal mode atleast but, once i reached lvl 31 on him the game basically became easy mode with his melee skill tree, he became close to just being immortal and he easily wipes out anything in his path even without a good set of gears.
I think you’re just bad at the game because Krieg is a really good character even before level 31

I had a hard time playing krieg solo but he eventually becomes an unkillable god in late game, in the early game the low melee damage might make things difficult but a decent roid shield will help!

Also, early game it is worth farming Boom/Bewm for EXP you can get to level 8/9 pretty early allowing for extra Sweet release with also more health. and with the amount of fire in that boss arena, more health is basically a must.
If you start liliths quest for the fastball at level 13 it scales to max level 13. Couple levels does make a sizable difference especially late game
I didnt know about the grenade farm. I will do that when I get into UVHM. Thank you for the vid. We need more of them, at least untill the new game comes out, but even then we need stuff for that game as well

its a late comment but Id recommended picking up the Lascaux from hunting the firehawk. its a really good hipfire SMG and can take you for 5 or so levels until you find something better

This video is seriously amazing. You obviously know your way around this game so I want to ask for a little advice, I just finished normal vault hunter mode as gaige, and i haven't played any dlc. Would it be better to start true vault hunter mode right away, or take the time to grind some xp/loot from warrior or other bosses? Thanks.

Awesome, thank you! As someone just started playing this game a few days ago, this is just what the doctor ordered. I love how Sanctuary looks so much like one of the towns in Rage (by ID Software) a game I loved and have played 2 or 3 times. :) Hopefully this will help me get past level 3, although I was playing Gauge (Gaige?) but I keep getting her killed lol.
Rage was basically Id's attempt to copy-paste the Borderlands franchise. A crappy attempt.

tip that will never someone find but its cool and its that if you dont have digistruck on peak or fight for sanctuary dlc but you have sir hammerlock dlc you can actually get osme levels so go there walk to the thing where you meet him when you discovre the location of the lodge + his place you get extrra level and let him kill some things and you can get level 3

As I returning player that played BL2 on Ps4 for 3 years straight and finally rebought it on pc. One too I can give is when it's available always always always always do the clan war quest and farm a slagga......it can carry thru the rest of normal mode and tvhm until you farm another one
or farm both, since maggie is hella good for bunker boss and stuff
just here to make sure i do these things correctly with 800+ hours of borderlands 2 experience alone.

In my desire to learn how to play efficiently, I found a way to force an autosave from any location. Go into the Badass Rank menu and select the option to turn off the BAR stats. The autosave will occur when you toggle it on or off.
does this also set your spawn to the closest fast travel? could certainly cut on some time for farming in both early and late game alike!
@@deadgain - when I did this trick, it loaded me at the same place that I turned off/on the BAR stats

Hell yeah it is! Even into UVHM in fact its best in UVHM cause the enemies level will scale with yours.
So you could come back and keep farming them every so often.
I fucking love the Contraband Sky Rocket bro it's IMMENSELY effective for the entire first playthrough.

Man l'm so glad l watched this video l was about to play this game because it's free in the ps4 l begain the game and stop wen l saw that you have to choose a class and l only cared about maya because she looked really cool but l was worried that l would pick a character that would be hard for beginners and wen he said that she is perfect for beginners l was super happy because she looks cool☺
Anyone just starting don’t grind farming methods with exclusive guns until max level if u do before it will be hard to get back to them

im on my first playthrough at level 24 about 30 hours in. its crazy how you can just randomly get some batshit insane weapons that will steam roll through everything for quite a few levels. i think i ran into a legendary shotgun and nades at around level 10 that just fucking demolished everything. eventually outgrew it though at about level 20ish.
Yeah it's stuff like that which brings a lot of depth to re-playing the game imo. You can research or just dead ass learn where all the cool stuff drops and optimize your leveling route. Probably my biggest complaint against BL3 is that a lot of the good items lack dedicated drops like that so it makes the experience more of a grind and less of a journey. Do side quests. I can't really think of any other XP source except the side quests and that's it.
I started maya today and did the first half of this guide exactly except for the dlc quest lol.

I did the xpacs after doing my 1rst play thru (lv 35) and now all my quests in main story are all low lv, so i get almost no xp anything i can do to fix it?
been trying for about 30 minutes to farm for that gun, but the grenade thing i also got first try

i started as axton and right now im about to go to the fridge after sanctuary flew away . I died a couple of times but the character seems pretty fine . I just headshot every guy with my sniper and then chase anyone close to me with my assault rifle or my shotgun. If im in a pinch i just use my turret and i can do whatever i want :P .

I am starting a game with Maya and in your video here you have STARTING weapons that I didn't have but you mentioned they are because of the Ultimate Vault Hunter's DLC? I got both of those (1 and 2) and still don't seem to have those starting weapons. Please help?

I hope someone who is watching this video now can explain this to me, but why would you skip the side quests and go straight to the hunting the fire hawk quest? Is it just so you can get to the fastball quicker or is there a specific reason?
just to get the fastball quicker yeah, and i mean as long as you are on level with the area you are in you should be fine. whenever you start falling behind in levels i recommend stopping for some side quests or just farming the most recent boss you faced
An esier way to defeat boll is to get a Canon car and drive up the side and shoot in

what why alweas do play dlc with in main story line it help you grind level fast doing all side quest from main and dlc will help you level up fast you will get beter gear you can use again the warrior like sand hawk or nuken or hornet and maybe chopper

i was being pretty mean to poor old axton lol. he's not that bad! you can always make your turrets take fire for you and it makes playing solo a little easier

B0re bayybbeeehhhhhh zero is a fine character to play he's just a squishy boi. I wouldn't recommend him to a total noob to FPS but honestly if you say you like sniping you are prrrrrroooobably past that point haha.
And yeah you can do some silly things on certain bosses with the bore skill.

@@pinasglenyzjong.5211 get your hands on a healing weapon my dude. Any moxy weapons work, the grognozzle is broken af (its a quest item pretty easy to get) and the Rubi is second best. I love the Grog cause it will level with you as a quest item and it has the highest damage returned as healing. You need to pick up and not turn in a quest in the tiny tina dlc. Plenty of guides out there to help get you started.

I’m thinking of using Maya for a 1LIFE challenge run. I’ve heard about Cloudkill. Her skill has the shortest cooldown. Sweet Release in tier 1 is attractive.
I’ve finished a 1LIFE in BL1 & TPS. BL1 Lilith took 2 tries. TPS took 30. BL2 is such a huge game, I’ve put it off til last.
I’ve always been if the mind to never farm legendaries until endgame. But I might in BL2. The blues and purples are harder to come by than the other games it seems. Your farming route seems worth the time.
Any tips, for a Maya 1LIFE? Pitfalls? I’m probably going to do every side quest for the XP. Avoid barrels, thus, avoid nova shields.

Honestly I'm late af commenting here my bad lol but if you are still trying this I'd reccomend joltzdude or killersix, both of them have plenty of 1 life runs with different characters. You may be able to glean some more useful info there as I'm not really a 1 life player
