My rescue terrier mixes have been teaching me all about their hunting ways. My girls work hard catching all animals especially rabbits. Terriers for life
@jimmy faulkner the owner of the cat was there when it happened, he said the cat always gets into fights... He went up the tree and was there for a good half a day
Is there anything you need to worry about like ticks or diseases? I have a bunch on a property of mine and was thinking about maybe trying it out sometime. There's tons of jack rabits, chipmunks and squirrels on my property.
Yes, they can be very destructive. I’ve seen rabbits under the hoods of vehicles eating the wires. Just the other day I was changing the air filter on a truck and at first I thought that it was a really dirty air filter when I pulled the tubing back but nope, it was a rabbit. It would’ve had to jump up on the tire then snake it’s way through the pipe leading to the air filter.
Just to help people out, and since I'm an Englishwoman, I'd like to offer the following translation: 'hood' in English English is a folding roof for a car; 'hood' in American English is the cover of a motor-car engine, which is called is called a bonnet in English English. I take it that the chap is referring to the latter definition of 'hood' in his post. Moreover, 'tire', as regards a rubber ring round a wheel rim, is the American English spelling of tyre, which is the English English spelling. Hope this was of interest. ❤xx
Rabbits can do a surprising amount of damage, and they frequently thrive in predator-less human made ecosystems. The old school methods of hunting with animals are really cool. When i was younger the rabbits in my area were so out of hand they were eating painted siding on my families house.
@@mikebucur8461 you know they can just live in the woods where nobody cares. its when they starts digging right beside your house that you must do something.
@@mikebucur8461 those were actually animals hunting animals, if you’ve got a problem with Nature, then go ahead, stop lions from eating gazelles. I remember hearing about some eye disease rabbits could develop called myxomatosis. Is that a concern for the ferrets or those two miniature dire wolves helping them out?
No. Myxomatosis can not be transmitted to dogs or ferrets. Or people... it is species specific which is one reason it has been used as a biological control agent for feral rabbit populations in places like Australia.
4 rabbits equal 1 sheep on how much they eat in a day so the rabbits are taking away grass that the horses eat and cost the owner more money in having to bring in hay which doesnt give the horse the same nutrients. Rabbit goes back into the food chain great to eat good for the ferrets and dogs too

Dogs are very good at what they do and should be rewarded with that meat that earned.

Yes lets brutally murder whatever hinders our survival. Thats definitely the most conscious humane approach.

The dogs are active nice job
I understand they can create problems, but why you cannot move them to another location?
They would simply cause chaos in that location to.
do you eat the rabbit after?
You should put little camera on the dogs and ferrets so we can see
The names of these two little fellows, lmao😂
I'm curious of how the dogs know to avoid killing ferrets?
Their so viscous the dogs won't attack. Probably been introduced to them when they were puppies.
Nice
How do you get the rabbits to pose like that?
Because there dead…..

sorry cen you tell mee what is name of thet tereier?
Poor bunny. A food for some body.
Always at the bottom of the food chain. The lowest hanging fruit is always the easiest.
This is all very new to me a couple of questions
What harm are they doing to the land?
What happens to the rabbits after caught?
Thanks
they make holes on grassland and horses trip and break their leg on them. they are consider a pest in horse land. think they kill them.

they're pests so they're killed. They ruin crops, grass that's meant for cows and horses, etc..
They are doing their thing and these numb nuts want to profit from their death.
For anyone who was wondering it looks like they take care of the rabbits by karate chopping them on the back of the neck.
Haahha

how i wished we could bring those rabbits to southern illinois our rabbits are all gone from over hunting and farmers clearing habitat
Wish we had rabbits in the states (s Indiana) our Hares are rather sparse. I love to eat them.
