Andrew wanted the freedom of exploring his beloved city of San Francisco and to be able to take his home wherever he goes. After finishing grad school, he decided if not now then when, and jumped into the jeep life without regrets. Living the tiny lifestyle has encouraged him embrace the outdoors and he's definitely taking advantage of it. Unique things about his Jeep is that he's still trying to grow plants, even if they're only succulents and he made sure to include room for his surfboard.

How awesome is this micro stealth camper? Could you live this way?
I would remove the passenger seat and use the space to set up a bed that goes all the way to the back. Otherwise, I would live in a blue jeep in a heart beat!

Nope. Need a little more room at my age. Perfect for teenagers an 20-30 somethings. After that I would imagine it would get old very soon.

I could live in that jeep but I'd remove the passenger seat and install a platform also get a hard top and a wide mouth Gatorade pee bottle
That’s what scares me, the soft top. All I was thinking is is that safe. It’s not particularly stealth if everything going on inside is easily heard.
I’m all for people living their best life and I’m sure he will make some amazing memories but I hope he stays safe doing it!!!

That's some serious ingenuity you've got going on, my dude! When the zombie apocalypse comes, I wanna be on your team.
Way back in the early 90s I did this in an 86 CJ-7. I took out the rear seats and built a nice mahogany storage box for the back with a lid that opened from the back with liftgate shocks to hold it up. The lid had an additional piece that hinged and folded down just past the opened tailgate. The tailgates dropped down. I had two poles that inserted into brackets and that was my bed. It maybe took 5 minutes to set up. My shortboard easily fit inside of the jeep and my mnt bike was on the spare tire.
When driving around it was completely stealth. Obviously, this worked for beach and rural camping, not parking lot camping. For stealth sleeping in public, my feet extended forward between the seats without having to set up the bed extension. This worked best for stormy weather too.
An inverter and a 5" black and white TV chillin' on the beach watching X-Files.

I agree. A jeep will get cold as hell in the winter months and wont trap the heat from a Mr. Heater unit etc. he needs a proper stealth van

Yes, it’s not only doable but almost limitless in where you can go. I did it for almost 3 years in a Jeep Cherokee with a hitch mounted cargo carrier. Florida to Alaska and many points in between. Fun, fun, fun.
I like how he made things work but I think he should sell that Jeep and buy a van. That bed set up ain’t comfy.

Having everything I own in a soft top that can be cut into in seconds is a definite no for me. I had an Isuzu Amigo w/soft top that got broken into in a less than 5 minute time span that I had stepped away so I learned the hard way.

I'd sell that Jeep and buy a used in great shape van. There is no way it would cost anymore for a nice minivan and more room.

This is something im planing.But i will have a tiny trailer bed for sleep and stuff.
He rolled out about 4 separate layers for his bed, what a hassle in a tiny space, why not just roll it up as one would be so much easier.
His jeep is not even water tight , how does he go on when it rains?!
I like the jeep but it is no where near suitable for living in.

Each to their own, but I know I wouldn’t feel safe living in such a cramped space, with a soft top roof. What if someone tried to get in there’s no easy jumping in that drivers seat to get away.
And his bed is a surf board not the level of comfort I need lol
He obviously has a great desire for the lifestyle, which I fully admire, and I’m sure he will make some amazing memories.

Luci Lights for night time? They are solar powered, just leave them on the dashboard daily to charge.

I think anyone who's brave enough to do van life is really smart. You are saving money and that's what matters.

Ty for your tour of your jeep love it. U mastered tiny living for sure they way u set your bed up and the lil platform at end of the surfboard u created. Pretty creative u have almost everything u need minus bathroom but there are lots of those around. I’m very impressed. U r livin your dream stay cool enjoy the surf the great outdoors,and jeeping🌊✌️🏄🏻♂️

Hey man I love your video, I also have a two door wrangler named Black Betty, I was thinking the same thing about my jeep and taking it to a permanent camper conversion.
