Who ever knew living in a car full time would become a thing in this life? I really enjoy all these build of people actually living in their cars more than I enjoy the ones with roof top tents. This is a true living in your Jeep. Kep up the good content.
You both made a REALLY cool build. I’m planning on getting a JKU and figuring out how to get a decent amount of storage, accommodate sitting up in the back and sleeping! I’m really excited to do some off-roading and hopefully can make something for full time living. Luckily I already prepped my mom before venturing out. It’ll be me alone in the Jeep but my sister is doing a van build. If you all show the details of the platform I’d definitely watch it! Thanks for sharing!
GrittyPhoenix Thanks 🙏🏽 You can’t go wrong with a JKU 😀 Lucky you! Unfortunately it’s impossible convincing Indian parents. Have fun building it and all the best for your travels 👍🏽
Excellent video. One of the better videos that I’ve seen on this type of build. It was very easy to follow along and understand the concept and humorous at times. You helped me with a few ideas for my 2012 JKU. Have fun out there I’m looking forward to more videos from you two
Unbelievable amount of space nicely used! I like how you manage to extend the bed to accomodate a pillow. Simple & clever jeep transformation. Good job👍
A lot of people now prefer living in rural than in cities. It is less stressful in rural. We will surely share this video with our customers for them to get awesome ideas from you. Thanks for this video!
It all comes down to the feel of it to you, drive a 2 door and the drive the 4 door. Do you want that extra inside space or do you like how the 2 door is a little more peppy. No eco-diesel if you live in California tho, expensive up keep
I strongly recommend a 4 door. The platform has a better wheelbase for 95% of terrain and a better ride. You never have enough (sheltered) room. If you’re tent-less you can sleep in or get out of the elements easier. They’re also easier to sell/trade down the road.
Extremely creative uses of space here... thank you for sharing. I'm still in between a jeep and a tundra for stealth camp/overland/rock crawl aio. You've helped me to reconcile some of the perceived space discrepancies.
Hi Both , Really nice to see you’ll taking an adventurous turn & living it like the way you want .....i own a Jeep JK 2016 Sport in Manila , Philippines. I am also one of the few Indians who own a jeep in Ph. I hail from B’lore too & ride a Royal Enfield when back home (still have my 1997 RE Machismo , sitting idle) . I like your set up & very humble honest opinions on what you’ve done. Wish you’ll the very best & i will keep watching for sure :)
Found you from Instagram, WOW!!!!!! Bravo, amazing job you have done on the jeep. And the guts to go after it even if you didn't know exactly how to build. I will be in an SUV so looking for ideas and tips. Really like the wooden shelf storage, and good that you can cook and access the refrigerator inside. I'll be curious how that size of Jackery works on keeping the food cold and powered up. Well done video, very informative. Looking forward to following along on your travels.
tinabeane Thanks Tina 🙏🏽 Glad you liked the video. We aren’t using our fridge full time as of now but you’re right, the jackery 240 alone won’t be sufficient enough to power the fridge 24/7. That’s our next project. To figure out the power situation 😬 All the best for your SUV build! Have fun 😊
I’m surprise some company doesn’t build a platform for a bed in the back of the jeep I know they make a mattress that fits the back but they should make a raised platform so you can put a slide out kitchen and refrigerator underneath the bed
Darsh, you and Also did a fantastic job! Love the video. Glad I was able to see it in person as well at the Gani run this year. I'm subscribed now too so looking forward to all the videos and pics to come.
I would like to say that y'all did an awesome job building out all of your storage options in your jeep! I have a 2005 Chevrolet Venture LS minivan that I want to convert into a campervan, but my van does not have the stow & go compartments in the floor, so I have to find the best way to utilize the space that I do have available. Plus I also have 2 cats that I have to consider, while I build my van conversion.
Really great and brave of you. 👍 there are some things that i want to ask/clear. 1. Where do you park it while sleeping? 2. How do you manage expenses?
Your Jeep is fabulous - I really like this setup. I have a Rubicon & would buy a Sport if I could do it over again. The locking diffs, sway bar disconnect, & other add-ons are truly excessive; I do light off-roading. 👍🏻
Thank you 😊 Glad you like it! All those add ons will come in handy once you get bored of all that light off roading and want to take on some challenging trails in the future 😎
Winter is coming, have fun but know when to seek proper warm shelter. I feel a gel mattress is gonna absorb cold like an ice cube. But goodluck! Pretty cool
I’m so happy I stumbled across your channel. Im impressed by your custom build. I recently purchased a Cherokee Trailhawk and planning to hit the road next year. So many great ideas here and you are the sweetest! I’m subscribing and look forward to watching your adventures. Wishing you happy and safe travels. ☮️💟🕉
Great video ! You are very refreshing to watch and listen to, compared to the typical jeep crowd ! Nice job on your jeep build. I hope you Post every wk your adventures . Good for both of you for Living your Dreams !! Bravo ! 🙏😻
eric esko jalonen Thanks Eric for your kind words ☺️ We’ll try to vlog our lifestyle/adventures and upload it here. Please stay tuned and have a great day!
You did very well, speaking in the video. I enjoyed the video very much. You both are very smart. When it is cold, if you stay where there is electricity, there is a nice heater that costs about $20. US. Lasko My Heat. It is only 200 Watts but would do a good job in your jeep. The size is about 4.5" wide x 3" deep x 6" tall. The best of luck to you both!
This video is amazing ♥️♥️ You two are amazing! We are doing the same with our Jeep, and your info was helpful!! I never thought of removing the back seats!!
Hello ! very nice ! we will soon be doing the same thing on our Wrangler JKU, can you give us the height to the bed platform please? because it's cool to still have room to sit on the bed. thank you :)
Sorry we don’t have the measurements. But our bed platform sat on top of the wheel wells. We put a 4 inch mattress on top of that. And it was perfect!!
First time viewer. I think you did a fantastic job. Interested if you are planning on staying in it full time and travel or what. I am not in great health but would love to do something lIke this for two or three years at least before I get in too bad of shape to do it. Wife doesn’t really agree but I am working on her lol
Glad you liked it Vern 😊 We did live in it full time for about 6 months while we were traveling across Canada. Check out the whole series here th-cam.com/play/PLbZnfy2pFW4nUTBuOEGlY2Y1oBMpNIBW0.html

Awesome, awesome setup! It’s cool to see everyone enjoying a Jeep build. It doesn’t matter who you are, Jeep on. P.S. you did good explaining the build LOL
Yes 100% Never had any mechanical issues other than a worn out sway bar and loose end links. It was a 2018 JL so it was still pretty brand new when we started the trip. Tires were not good on snow or mud. But it’s the best option when you do a lot of highway miles and some basic off-road.
The Jackery and the heater bunk mattress was definitely not enough. We later installed a diesel heater and it was the best thing we’ve ever done to our setup. th-cam.com/video/RPe0Pgcvt_o/w-d-xo.html
I just started washing your video’s and I find them to be very inspiring. Keep up the good work and safe travels. If you ,ever make it to the Washington D.C area lets do lunch. It’s on me.

John Walker That’s right John 😄 We’re probably the first to add them cupboards on a Jeep (at least on the internet) lol. We were heavily inspired by van life builds though 😬 If you do it, one advice is, take your time tracing that roll bar out. Once you get that right, the cupboards will be nice and tight and rattle free 👍🏽 Good luck 😊
Great video, I'm thinking about modifying my jeep as well and I love what you did with the built in cabinets. What kind of black paint did you use to paint the mesh?
I like how the under-storage is accessible from the inside!
i was going to comment about the direction of the fridge but when you showed how you cook inside it made more sense. great setup👍
We did switch it the other way eventually as we never ever cooked from inside 😄
What a compact and efficient packaging! Great job!!,
Chris Ocean Thanks Chris 😊
Who ever knew living in a car full time would become a thing in this life? I really enjoy all these build of people actually living in their cars more than I enjoy the ones with roof top tents. This is a true living in your Jeep.
Kep up the good content.
Thanks 🙏🏽 We agree! RTTs might be more comfortable and all that, but we love our tiny living setup inside 😍
It’s becoming a thing because Rent is $1800 for a half bathroom and no toilet paper

Thank you very much! Glad you find our content resourceful 😊
Nice economical build. I like how you can sleep inside the vehicle.
Such an inspiration ! I’m starting my Jeep life adventure in a few weeks in my JL, love your build and happy jeeping !
Thanks Julian 🙏🏽 All the best and remember to have fun!
Got half the money already. Just a little bit more to go. Just dont know if i want the 2 door or 4 door sport for camping and traveling.
It all comes down to the feel of it to you, drive a 2 door and the drive the 4 door. Do you want that extra inside space or do you like how the 2 door is a little more peppy. No eco-diesel if you live in California tho, expensive up keep

Beautiful personalities, super funny and down to earth. Hope to see you on the road!!
You beautiful people, that is the best up I've ever seen
Thanks Michael 😄

Love it, great use of space!!

Thanks for watching Sheree 🙏🏽 Yes trying to make use of every tiny bit of space is important. Good luck on your build 😊
Thank you!
I love your build with the bed. I wish i knew someone who could make me a twin bed in my van. But it looks like im doing it myself
You can do it!!
Really great and brave of you. 👍 there are some things that i want to ask/clear. 1. Where do you park it while sleeping? 2. How do you manage expenses?
Thanks 😊 Those are good questions that should go into our Q&A video!
So glad to see Indian folks embracing Car life/ Van Overland life!! Contemplating It too! Great build! 💕

So many incredible ideas! Very creative build ideas. the cooking inside seems a little dangerous, but everything else is amazing.
“Smooth as butter” -Lmfao
Nice build

I was so proud of my mattress topper, pillows and my inverter for my fan. Lol you have it figured out.
lol it might be super simple but its so damn satisfying 😁
How do you support your lifestyle? What do you do for work? And you shower at the gym? Thanks, awesome video
We saved up for 3 to 4 months of life on the road. Shower yes Planet Fitness and Rest/Truck Stops.
Absolutely brilliant setup! Well done people 👌🏼
Thank you Daniel 😊
Awesome rig!!
It was a fun video to watch. Keep it up guys.
Thanks 😊 Glad you enjoyed it!
What kind of wood would you use if you could do it again? What kind of wood did you use?
We would use a half inch or three quarter inch planed plywood if were to do it again. I think we used a quarter inch before.
Well done to you both, you’ve done a great job. My best wishes from Australia.
Thank you very much Greg 😊

Thank you Jim 😄
Nice build, love it! Greetings from The Netherlands
Guido Kartner Thanks for watching 😊
After a year, would you recommend the jeep for road living? Any mechanical issues you’ve ran across? Are the tires worth it? Thank you 💕🙏🏽
Yes 100% Never had any mechanical issues other than a worn out sway bar and loose end links. It was a 2018 JL so it was still pretty brand new when we started the trip. Tires were not good on snow or mud. But it’s the best option when you do a lot of highway miles and some basic off-road.
Thanks for sharing this! Was the jackery enough in Yukon ? How many days could you use it with the heater? Thank you

Very informative and I love what you did!
Glad you liked it 😊
This is just wow❤️
where did you get the window vents? they look amazing i've been looking for some!
amzn.to/2SYTN93
Jeep Wrangler is a tank Jeep models do really make a big ones lol I even use my Grand Cherokee just for sleeping in there with bedding like that
Excellent build, love it so much ❤
But where do you put your clothing ?
Thank you Abdo 😊 We use the left drawer for most of our clothing and also the side cupboards for some jackets and sweaters.
@@AldoandDarsh thank you for the reply, and have fun 😊
Hello,
Great video, I'm looking for an idea to equip my JK and you have been a mine of information.
I am French I do not understand everything, did you mention the window ventilation grills, I cannot find in France you have an internet salesman.
Thank you
Glad you found the video informative Anthony 😊 For ventilation, we used a rain gutter screen/mesh from Lowe’s. This is how it looks www.lowes.com/pd/Amerimax-Snap-In-Gutter-Filter-PVC-Gutter-Screen-6-5-in-x-3-ft/50040808
That is all great really worth to see ur vedio but tell me where u go for 2 no because u have no toilet in jeep
That’s a good question. We’ll probably have to make a separate video to explain that 😄
Is it possible to do something like that for the Jeep Compass ?
Probably! Nothing is impossible right?! 😊
I love the presentation ❤
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
good build. How do you guys shower and do laundry while living full time in the Jeep?
Shower was at rest stops and planet fitness. Laundry was at public coin laundry places.
Great video ! Wish you both all the best ! Happy Trails !!
Tacos and Willy’s Thank you 😊
That’s the first time I’ve seen cupboards on the sides of a Jeep. It’s a great idea that I may have to borrow for mu camper JKU!
John Walker That’s right John 😄 We’re probably the first to add them cupboards on a Jeep (at least on the internet) lol. We were heavily inspired by van life builds though 😬 If you do it, one advice is, take your time tracing that roll bar out. Hector Serrano thanks 😊
Great video, I'm thinking about modifying my jeep as well and I love what you did with the built in cabinets. What kind of black paint did you use to paint the mesh?
Glad you liked our setup Jean 😊 We used one of those Quick Color Spray Paint by Rust-oleum. Any multi purpose paint should work just fine 👍🏽
