As someone that hates how this situation was handled the first judge was handling it like a judge should. And she shared her opinion which I see as a shot at the cops for not handling these cases. Because it is dangerous for court and trilogy to be doing this. So the people trained should be the ones to handle it. And that’s something we all should agree on. If she was able to hear the entire case till the end. She would have handled it perfectly.

When my 23 year old daughter was 14 there was an incident that occurred online and thankfully my youngest daughter told me something was happening and I intervened. I tried to notify the police and they informed me that my daughter was guilty of sending child porn over the internet. This was the Reno Police department. At that time I didn’t know that the Washoe County sheriff’s department had a child sex crimes unit specifically for dealing with these types of crimes. Now I know but my daughters are know older. Hopefully someone in the area sees this information and will benefit. Keep up the good, and needed work.

As per what the judge has stated the arguments put forward by the Puble Defender's office are well within reason, and most of what the DA put forward in response was overruled. Within the blind eye's of lady justice the argumentation put forward by Lambrose thus far (with me being an hour and a half into this video) are perfectly reasonable lines of argument.... Whether they are successful or not is another matter, but from as far as what I've listened to at least half way through Lambrose hadn't lost the argument he put forward yet.... Judge Cowart would have loved to have said "you haven't lost... YET...." This is why the prosecutor's office generally produces shit lawyers.... This has nothing to do with Fernando, it has everything to do with being able to present a reasonable argument.... Which from what I've heard so far having some understanding of the law myself, while I may not agree with it (irrelevant) is perfectly relevant argumentation.... AND Furthermore, neither Courtney, nor Ashton, or Art, or Skeeter, seem to have any form of cogent understanding of the law.... You may not agree with it, but the judge by and large did not disagree with Lambrose presenting it and if you don't agree with the arbitrator as the Judge and want a police state you may as well move to Soviet Russia. I don't have the time to finish this video right now, but there is nothing from what I have seen thus far that is out of order from the judge involved in the pre-trial hearing. The way Trilogy is reacting it's borderline whether Trilogy themselves (all parties) should be arrested themselves.... As to calling someone a "dumb ass" within the confines of the courts itself is a freedom of speech right.... and its something that can be said within the building itself... There is a legal difference to what can be said on the street vs. what can be said in the courts chambers.... so the term "dumb ass" is completely irrelevant to the discussion. The bailiff should have arrested Ashton. They went down a more lenient pathway of asking him to delete the content, that is more than reasonable. As far as I can tell the courts have been completely reasonable to a hostile party.... If I were Ashton I would have shut the fuck up and counted my blessings. Alright I watched a bit further: No contest does not mean guilty either.... The summation of all of this is Trilogy fucked up, the main significance of the charge was dropped and the remainder doesn't meet the significance of what Trilogy was trying to achieve.

Basically, they’re not going to arrest someone in California for meeting someone pretending to be 14 in an operation that’s not conducted by the police and even then still. This is why you leave these cases to actual professionals. I furthered this elsewhere but the fact that Trilogy does not meet the criminal codes for vigilantism is completely at odds with the criminal code of California on the matter and I posted that a I’ve and it’s not even my jurisdiction. A simple leal understanding would show you that you don’t have to meet all of the elements of the related code for a charge to be met. You stop counting down your list in the law when enough elements of the wording are met to constitute a charge. By “any average person’s” terms (which is the arbitrator in a jury trial) there are enough elements in my eyes to be one of 12 that would convict on related charges to vigilantism. The judge was lenient. If Ashton is going to co rinks to go into court rooms and split shit it wouldn’t have been and won’t be the last time the Bailiff is instructed by the powers of the courts to arrest him for contempt. As to the rest of the message if I was the Public Defenders office I would be seriously considering whether all of the elements of damage had been met for a defamation suit (that includes slander and libel) what elements it represents irrelevant. Ashton is out of his league and is acting like a real dumbass (truth defence at hand here) and he should shut the fuck up before the whole channel is shut down and one of them goes to prison. That doesn’t mean I agree with Fernando. It means they put together a real hamfisted argument as to why Fernando should have been prosecuted which ended somewhere between. 11. I think this is still a great country. I think people getting a fair and equitable chance in life matters though. So does systematic racism. The problem that I believe is why they are protecting him, he's the only public defender in that court. Unfunded to hell, as look the DA doesn't do the same lawyers but public defender only one to not change and if he was removed then the court system needs to find a new one to abuse and pay. Seriously big problem, they need to be as funded as the DA.
Seriously I wish more people understood how vitally important it is to have competent, professional public defenders. Good counsel means convictions stick. Especially when discussing criminals with victims, it’s really important their convictions aren’t overturned on appeal. Having pissant egomaniacs acting unprofessional is the opposite of what victims deserve and the opposite of what defendants deserve. Our entire judicial system is built on having competent defense. Acting that way warrants at a minimum some sort of corrective action. Public attorneys deal with the absolute bottom of the barrel - in funding, income, benefits, work life balance. Being burnt out to the point of losing self control is something that needs to be addressed. It’s never acceptable for any professional to allow their personal feelings to override the standards of conduct for their profession.
I’m so glad you got the predator!! As a survivor of this crime. I really appreciate the amazing work you do. I got PTSD years later and reported the crime to the police but they didn’t do anything about it. I was groomed and didn’t expect to be violated in such a horrendous way. I was drugged in order for them to carry out their crime. My Mum didn’t believe me so it wasn’t reported to the police. I have had specific therapy for this type of crime and moving on. She moved up the ranks and got her black belt within two years. White belt is not something you achieve or test for, it’s something that you get when you’re given the standard white Gi(karate uniform) … technically she was given a white belt during the introductory course. She took a six week course and at the end you decide whether you’re gonna sign a contract or not. We chose to sign the contract, but the point is , a white belt is not something “earned “ .. ok I’ll stop rambling now sorry. I haven’t finished the video yet and I’m already fuming at Ambrose.

When the court's rules have a clause that specifically indicates substantive reasoning as part of the process. Part of me thinks that in the contempt hearing, they would've thrown it out, but used fear tactics to make sure it never got that far.

I reported someone and went through the court process for a similar situation as a witness in Fulton county GA. The court system- DA, Judges, Prosecutors, victims advocates, everyone let me down and I completely lost faith in our justice system. Thank you for your hard work, and I’m sorry you also had such a negative experience on all sides in LA.
As someone from GA myself (lived in Gwinnett, Fulton and Dekalb), and have come in contact with the legal system a couple times, I’m not surprised, but saddened.

This is the USA. We have terribly inept and criminal cops the majority of the time and a low freedom rating compared to other nations in modern day. It doesn't matter much if you're innocent in the USA. What matters is you have money and whether or not the judge with judicial immunity cares enough about you or your case and/or isn't too corrupt to just do whatever they want in regards to your case.
The objections made by the defense were because Courtney was making assumptions on what the defendant was thinking. The rulings were actually correct. She can't testify to what the defendant was thinking as she doesn't know what was going on in his head at the time. Mr. Chihuahua was a jerk, and most of what he said out of court was uncalled for, but in court, what he was doing was providing his client with the best defense possible.

I've seen people filming get significantly harsher responses than people get for actual violent crime more times than I can count on youtube. A guy standing on a public sidewalk filming will regularly get 10 cops responding within 15 minutes who apparently take it personally and just can't let the total lack of crimes go, but when people call for crimes like this they get one bored disinterested cop to show up two hours later to tAkE a RePoRt and then disappear like a fart in the wind. The second Judge was excellent, I absolutely love seeing people who are this unbiased and fair in the right job like that. There are so many bad judges or just plain exhausted judges so it's great to have one truly trying to let justice take it's course as efficiently as possible. The first judge was *okay* but she let lambrose get away with a fair bit of witness intimidation type of bullshit which really should have been answered with a warning from the judge, I mean the guy tried to turn a prosecution trial into a civil suit.

As a parent myself I thank you. It's been shown world wide that the police cannot do everything, I believe that instead of blaming you the public defender should be thanking you. Even worse than him is public defender Frank McGowen in Fort Bragg California practicing for Mendocino County. It's so saddening the corruption going on in the judiciary system in California. I did not get competent legal representation. My public defender insulted and belittled me just like mr.labrose did trilogy media in this vifeo, only even worse and I was his actual client. He laughed at me multiple times, scoffed at me, threatened me with my possible sentences, so many unacceptable things. Even using curse words while speaking to me in the hall. I wasn't accused of any sex crime either. Wish I could have got my public defender to fight for me like this. Instead he treated me the client this way. When it's not acceptable for an attorney to treat even the opposing side in that matter let alone their own client. I was railroaded and as a 25 year ol d woman and mother I am now sadly a convicted felon in california. Luckily after two years of I successfully complete my probation then my charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor but this whole thing has been unjust. I was innocent. I am innocent. California needs to do better.
It's amazing that, after such a nightmare-ish experience, you guys are still doing these type of sting house operations. If I was in your position, I'd have to ask myself a million times if it is still worth doing it after all the psychological and financial burden endured. Scumbag and slimeball or not, that's everyone's constitutional right, to be defended, regardless of their financial ability to seek defense. That's why we have public defense attorneys. Do you know how many people get wrongly charged and convicted of things? What if you were wrongly accused? What if everyone thought you did it, and didn't think you deserved an attorney? The system isn't perfect, and obviously needs an overhaul, but there's a reason we have this facet of the system in place.

As someone that hates how this situation was handled the first judge was handling it like a judge should. And she shared her opinion which I see as a shot at the cops for not handling these cases. Because it is dangerous for court and trilogy to be doing this. So the people trained should be the ones to handle it. And that’s something we all should agree on. If she was able to hear the entire case till the end. She would have handled it perfectly.

I for one am glad you guy’s do these awareness videos. When my 23 year old daughter was 14 there was an incident that occurred online and thankfully my youngest daughter told me something was happening and I intervened. I tried to notify the police and they informed me that my daughter was guilty of sending child porn over the internet. This was the Reno Police department. At that time I didn’t know that the Washoe County sheriff’s department had a child sex crimes unit specifically for dealing with these types of crimes. Now I know but my daughters are know older. Hopefully someone in the area sees this information and will benefit. Keep up the good, and needed work.

As per what the judge has stated the arguments put forward by the Puble Defender's office are well within reason, and most of what the DA put forward in response was overruled. Within the blind eye's of lady justice the argumentation put forward by Lambrose thus far (with me being an hour and a half into this video) are perfectly reasonable lines of argument....
Whether they are successful or not is another matter, but from as far as what I've listened to at least half way through Lambrose hadn't lost the argument he put forward yet....
Judge Cowart would have loved to have said "you haven't lost... YET...." This is why the prosecutor's office generally produces shit lawyers....
This has nothing to do with Fernando, it has everything to do with being able to present a reasonable argument.... Which from what I've heard so far having some understanding of the law myself, while I may not agree with it (irrelevant) is perfectly relevant argumentation....

You may not agree with it, but the judge by and large did not disagree with Lambrose presenting it and if you don't agree with the arbitrator as the Judge and want a police state you may as well move to Soviet Russia.
I don't have the time to finish this video right now, but there is nothing from what I have seen thus far that is out of order from the judge involved in the pre-trial hearing.
The way Trilogy is reacting it's borderline whether Trilogy themselves (all parties) should be arrested themselves.... As to calling someone a "dumb ass" within the confines of the courts itself is a freedom of speech right.... and its something that can be said within the building itself...
There is a legal difference to what can be said on the street vs. what can be said in the courts chambers.... so the term "dumb ass" is completely irrelevant to the discussion. The bailiff should have arrested Ashton. They went down a more lenient pathway of asking him to delete the content, that is more than reasonable.
As far as I can tell the courts have been completely reasonable to a hostile party.... If I were Ashton I would have shut the fuck up and counted my blessings.

I furthered this elsewhere but the fact that Trilogy does not meet the criminal codes for vigilantism is completely at odds with the criminal code of California on the matter and I posted that a I’ve and it’s not even my jurisdiction.
A simple leal understanding would show you that you don’t have to meet all of the elements of the related code for a charge to be met.
You stop counting down your list in the law when enough elements of the wording are met to constitute a charge.
By “any average person’s” terms (which is the arbitrator in a jury trial) there are enough elements in my eyes to be one of 12 that would convict on related charges to vigilantism.
The judge was lenient. If Ashton is going to co rinks to go into court rooms and split shit it wouldn’t have been and won’t be the last time the Bailiff is instructed by the powers of the courts to arrest him for contempt.
As to the rest of the message if I was the Public Defenders office I would be seriously considering whether all of the elements of damage had been met for a defamation suit (that includes slander and libel) what elements it represents irrelevant.
Ashton is out of his league and is acting like a real dumbass (truth defence at hand here) and he should shut the fuck up before the whole channel is shut down and one of them goes to prison.
That doesn’t mean I agree with Fernando. It means they put together a real hamfisted argument as to why Fernando should have been prosecuted which ended somewhere between.

The problem that I believe is why they are protecting him, he's the only public defender in that court. Unfunded to hell, as look the DA doesn't do the same lawyers but public defender only one to not change and if he was removed then the court system needs to find a new one to abuse and pay. Seriously big problem, they need to be as funded as the DA.
Seriously I wish more people understood how vitally important it is to have competent, professional public defenders. Good counsel means convictions stick. Especially when discussing criminals with victims, it’s really important their convictions aren’t overturned on appeal.
Having pissant egomaniacs acting unprofessional is the opposite of what victims deserve and the opposite of what defendants deserve. Our entire judicial system is built on having competent defense. Acting that way warrants at a minimum some sort of corrective action.
Public attorneys deal with the absolute bottom of the barrel - in funding, income, benefits, work life balance. Being burnt out to the point of losing self control is something that needs to be addressed. It’s never acceptable for any professional to allow their personal feelings to override the standards of conduct for their profession.

I got PTSD years later and reported the crime to the police but they didn’t do anything about it. I was groomed and didn’t expect to be violated in such a horrendous way. I was drugged in order for them to carry out their crime. My Mum didn’t believe me so it wasn’t reported to the police. I have had specific therapy for this type of crime and moving on. She moved up the ranks and got her black belt within two years. White belt is not something you achieve or test for, it’s something that you get when you’re given the standard white Gi(karate uniform) … technically she was given a white belt during the introductory course. She took a six week course and at the end you decide whether you’re gonna sign a contract or not. We chose to sign the contract, but the point is , a white belt is not something “earned “ .. ok I’ll stop rambling now sorry. I haven’t finished the video yet and I’m already fuming at Ambrose.

I reported someone and went through the court process for a similar situation as a witness in Fulton county GA. The court system- DA, Judges, Prosecutors, victims advocates, everyone let me down and I completely lost faith in our justice system. The objections made by the defense were because Courtney was making assumptions on what the defendant was thinking. The rulings were actually correct. She can't testify to what the defendant was thinking as she doesn't know what was going on in his head at the time.

As a mother I cannot understand how filming in court is a bigger crime then the sex predator or offensive behaviour of DA????😢
I've seen people filming get significantly harsher responses than people get for actual violent crime more times than I can count on youtube. A guy standing on a public sidewalk filming will regularly get 10 cops responding within 15 minutes who apparently take it personally and just can't let the total lack of crimes go, but when people call for crimes like this they get one bored disinterested cop to show up two hours later to tAkE a RePoRt and then disappear like a fart in the wind.

The second Judge was excellent, I absolutely love seeing people who are this unbiased and fair in the right job like that. There are so many bad judges or just plain exhausted judges so it's great to have one truly trying to let justice take it's course as efficiently as possible.
The first judge was *okay* but she let lambrose get away with a fair bit of witness intimidation type of bullshit which really should have been answered with a warning from the judge, I mean the guy tried to turn a prosecution trial into a civil suit.

Even worse than him is public defender Frank McGowen in Fort Bragg California practicing for Mendocino County. It's so saddening the corruption going on in the judiciary system in California. I did not get competent legal representation. My public defender insulted and belittled me just like mr.labrose did trilogy media in this vifeo, only even worse and I was his actual client. He laughed at me multiple times, scoffed at me, threatened me with my possible sentences, so many unacceptable things. Even using curse words while speaking to me in the hall. I wasn't accused of any sex crime either. Wish I could have got my public defender to fight for me like this. Instead he treated me the client this way. When it's not acceptable for an attorney to treat even the opposing side in that matter let alone their own client. I was railroaded and as a 25 year ol d woman and mother I am now sadly a convicted felon in california. Luckily after two years of I successfully complete my probation then my charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor but this whole thing has been unjust. I was innocent. I am innocent. California

Scumbag and slimeball or not, that's everyone's constitutional right, to be defended, regardless of their financial ability to seek defense. That's why we have public defense attorneys. Do you know how many people get wrongly charged and convicted of things? What if you were wrongly accused? What if everyone thought you did it, and didn't think you deserved an attorney? The system isn't perfect, and obviously needs an overhaul, but there's a reason we have this facet of the system in place.
