Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan and his protege Akbar Ali give a dazzling performance of a Multani Kafi by Sufi poet Khawaja Ghulam Fareed based on Raag Sindhi Bhairvin. This was the senior vocalist's concluding performance at Lahore Music Forum's Sangeet Mela on 3rd January 2016.Accompanying artists are Anil Sunny on the tabla, Zohaib Hassan on the sarangi and Khairat Ali on the harmonium.

Yesterday I chanced upon Raag Desh by Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan Sahab and just been blown over by his voice and presentation. On searching net, I found that he is no more. Sad indeed. Can anyone tell me if there is any CD / LP or something available? I am particularly interested in Thumri or folk sang by this great artist. Thanks in advance.
