Are you aware of the Patiala gharana? Ustad Amanat Ali Khan and Ustad Fateh Ali Khan moved to Lahore after Partition. This is the gharana that Rustam Fateh Ali and Shafqat Amanat Ali belong to.
Ustad mubarak ali khan sahab was really a great classical singer...he was spiritual deciple of ustad amir khan sahab ,his love for ustad amir khan made him a great classical singer.
Relative unknown to public, video uploaded by a channel with a few hundred subscribers and yet he got thousands of views for an old school musical genre, this all points out that Mubarak Ali Khan SB is a legend and one of few people in Pakistan to create magic. I also see Qadir Shaggan sb and Riaz Qadri among the audience praising this great singer.
