Such beauty in the voice, reminds me of Amir Khan with the deep introspection in the music and peaceful pace. I am from United States and not from Indian or Pakistani origin, but this music is universally appealing. Looking forward to see Akbar Ali in USA for performances.

Mesmerizing Akbar Ali. I am from India and regularly go through Indian classical music. The galaxy of Indian maestros of whom I had the opportunity to see them performing on stage. I am also fond of Pakistani maestros like Nayra Noor, Abida Parvin and Farida Khanum apart from Ghulam Ali and Mehdi Hassan but never heard any recital of classical singer from Pakistan. Thanks for the wonderful initiative . Best regards for the unique effort to publish such beautiful presentation. Thanks to my daughter for advising me to hear this capture.

I have no words to describe the sweetness of this bandish. Akbar Ali sahab is surely doing justice to the raag and I am sure that his Ustad Amirkhan sahab will be feeling proud of him. I'd also like to appreciate the companion artists as they have given very good support on Tabla and Sarangi. I dont know why but, in starting Akbar Ali sahab introduced the Tauseef Abbas sahab but not introduced the Sarangi Player. There is nothing to criticize but I personally felt that Sarangi player was also no less and he should be also equally appreciated. I am also thankful to Team DJ for there tireless efforts in preserving the musical tradition. My Best wishes for entire Team of DJ as well as all the Artist of this recording.

Absolutely beautiful. Having listened to the original bandish in Raag Bihag by the great Ustad Amir Khan countless times, this rendition by Akber Ali is haunting. Is there anyone else today who has the panache to pull off such a difficult bandish so flawlessly with the ease, grace, and poise of Akber Ali? I doubt it. I will be seeing him perform live tonight at NAPA in Karachi. So delighted and honoured to have an opportunity to see this brilliant young man perform. We are lucky to be alive in his times.

It is heartening to note that some young rising stars are keeping the classical tradition alive, unlike many who have since crossed over to pop abandoning their forefather's legacy (although I do not blame them as classical genre has few takers). While Akbar Ali is originally from a gharana of Qawwals, he has learnt classical Khayal from Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan who lives in Lahore and is inspired by the late Ustad Amir Khan, Indore Gharana.
You must be kidding me Lol. I like him a lot myself but he doesn't come close to Tansen Salamat ali khan. And he needs to stop copying ustad Amir khan's style, Ali is very talented I am sure he's one of the finest in Pakistan amongst new generation.
He undoubtedly has the potential. I love this guy since I first saw him on Junoon. Have been a fan of him. Not just a vocalist par excellence, an extremely humble man. There’s nothing wrong in following Ustad Amir Khna Sagan’s style of it makes him learn. And obviously, who would deny that you can’t learn from him.
Sir please think twice before making such comparisons... No disrespect for very young, talented and melodious Akbar Ali but yes...Tansen Salamat Ali Khan sahab will always be class apart.

Perhaps you may have already understood this one. Kaise ( How ) Sukh ( here it means happiness, other meaning is to be contend) Soway ( how to sow the seed ) . So basically the English translation would be “ how to sow the seeds that bear happiness or contentment in one’s life “.
